My thoughts are that I believe that Lusail and AL Bayt Stadium should keep the upper tier seats when it come with massive events like popular sporting events, concerts, semi finals and finals in non-world cup games.

This is really smart move by Qatar, why would you have so many big stadiums while you're in a small country and small population as well anyway. $250B was very well spent

I heard most of these stadiums would host matches of the next 2023 AFC Asian Cup in the same country.

I think that those plans are going to Be postponed since Qatar are going to host The Asian cup in 2023 after China relinquished their hosting rights, the only stadium that's going to be removed completely regardless is 974 stadium the others are gonna wait after the Asian cup and also Albait and Lusail are supposed to be reduced to 50k and 60k more than the intended 40k

Russia said similar and haven't changed any of their stadiums since the World Cup, including those monstrous "temporary" stands that stuck out the ends of the Ekaterinburg Stadium.

Qatar had actually hosted the Asian Cup in January 2024, so World Cup stadiums can be used again. Al Bayt will likely host the opening match, while Lusail hosted the Final.

They will still use it for AFC Asian cup 2023

Stadium 974 will be better if it is not demolished. Because in my opinion, this stadium is the most beautiful stadium in terms of appearance in the 2022 World Cup.

Actually none of the stadiums are of no use to the local people, just a show piece. Expatiates live in an another world inside Qatar in labour camps.and dont have the money to pay of the tickets.

That shows you . That they don’t use the stadium for football . Because they don’t play football. Is just a dirty business.

Its nice donating the seats in a country in need of sports infastructure maybe the ones that Qatar took the people, remove their passports and make them do hard labor building these stadiums without paying them and some who died building it. its an act of giving back
