nothing feels better than beating every cup in every cc and hearing this. truly a great feeling of victory. this game, through its rough items and hundreds of blue shells being thrown is still a great game that i'm glad i grew up with
I turned 18 today, I saved this song in a playlist to listen to it before I go to bed today. This game means so much to me, I could cry thinking back on memories. Life can be so scary, especially from now on. But I want it now. To experience as much life as possible.
Happy (Belated?) birthday!! I feel like, even though everyone has their own "personally most important game", none will be feeling quite the same feeling as those who feel like we do, the Mario Kart Wii-ers. Don't be afraid of adulthood. It will be a bit bumpy in the beginning, but as soon as you find your footing, it will all be a piece of cake. Mostly because it will feel kinda like when you pass the finish line in first place for the first time on that lovely Rainbow Road. Happy Birthday! /Non-average Wario Enjoyer
i thought no one else noticed that! i was going crazy after finally starring the last 150cc cup, to hear this right before getting dry bowser, then nintendo blasts the screen with the copyright thing and it just goes **tink**
As a kid I must've played this game for hundreds of hours and won every single gold except for one, the last course. I always finished second no matter what I tryed. Last year I found my old dusty wii and fired up the game just for a couple laughs and decided to give that cup a last try, after almos 15 years I was able to win that last cup and listening to this tune really hit me hard. I think I'll remember it for ever.
maple treeway actually kinda goes more on the wii bc side. and the moo moo meadows part kinda has a mushroom gorge tone to it. prob just me tho edit: my fav part is the toads factory part it goes hard as hell
Ever since I was a child this has always been my favorite credits sequence in any video game. It never fails to make me cry. After graduating from high school I watched this one more time. The first part is the moment of realization that you've finally reached the end of your current journey, and the second part is not only celebrating reaching the end, but also the start of a brand new journey. Thank you Mario Kart Wii. You'll always have a special place in my heart.
when i was 3, me and my sister used to watch our dad play this game. we would always ask him to play the special cup for the rainbow road, but also for THIS music at the end. we would jump and dance to it, it was amazing. we made an entire choreography to this ost lmao
@@pxlbzd4ztr0ph1lia I had a thing for hand-eye coordination games. I don't anymore, but for about 3 years from 2007 to 2010, I won like crazy. I had it down to science - such that I couldn't have any caffeine before I played, it make a difference between winning 5000 tickets in a day or 3000. Not only did I win prizes like that, but most of the time I came in under retail.
Tip from me. if your ever depressed or not feeling lifely.. PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS SONG. Takes me back to all the fond memories I've had playing this game. Every time i listen to this i get so overwhelmed by nostalgia.
Just a constant reminder that, no, we don’t need more “mature” games that much anymore. Admit it. Being aimed at an older audience isn’t an excuse. It never was. Think about it. Even more so when you realize how almost none of them are story driven, but rather just as violent, shocking, gory, and disturbing as possible. Childhood innocence is a key part of our lives, as it helps us stay positive, even in the most dire situations we face in the world. This soundtrack is so catchy and upbeat, but mostly peaceful and serene, which is something more people really need to appreciate. It’s the smaller, simpler things that matter the most.
I remember in Lockdown, starting in February 2021, I played this game every single day for at least 3 months, I got a gold trophy on every cup and loved the game so much I would literally listen to the soundtrack while doing homework. After finishing it, I felt like the end credits scene was the most incredible reward I could’ve ever received. 3 years later and after switching from an original 2006 Wii to Dolphin Emulator on my PC, Mario Kart Wii is still my favourite game of all time.

My name is Sergey, I'm 15 years old, I live in Russia. this song means a lot to me. Now I have a lot of problems in my family and in life, but I only hold on to warm memories of my childhood from 2012-2018. I had a Wii at the time and loved playing Mario Kart. I associate this song with that time. I immediately remember the sincere smile of my parents, which I have not seen for so many years, and I immediately want to cry, but I can’t, I don’t know why. thanks for reading
@@beastgohan2384 I completely 100%ed the game, beat all the ghost racers and the super ghost racers, unlocked all character and vehicles(Including Mii Outfit B), and got 3-Star ranks in every cup on every CC mode
I was listening to Fight Area from Pokemon DPP on piano and it reminded me of this tune. There's something similar about them I can't quite put my finger on it. Got it, 0:44 of ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YpRiX9dNnL8.html lines up with 0:42 of this.
