Kiicks was running e50 tune for like 2 yrs when he had his M340, ur good bro LOL E50 is literally just get a flex fuel kit from MHD and ur good. U wont kill ur turbo idk who tf told you that. Theres SO many e50 M340s out rn doing fine.
install the quad exhaust tips. It'll push the exhaust exit out a few inches so the exhaust exits pass the bumper. It'll stop the soot from accumulating on your bumper. Catless downpipes have no cats so the cat can't catch most of the soot from the engine.
Running E50 is perfectly fine. It's up to the tune to be setup to make the right corrections for when the ethanol content isn't the best. Most setup the tunes to work with ethanol content as low as like e40-60 just in case you're out of range with your mix. You can even run M340is on full E85(but you'll get more power with e50 because they drop the duty of the fuel pump but can still make 450+whp stg2) with the stock fuel pump and HPFP. Most of the time those will be setup for ethanol content of like e60-e90 just in case the e85 in your area isn't as good or better than you think.
Cant wait to tune my M340i, I need to get wit it. You don't need anything else to run an E50 tune on these cars. Can run it with no issues on a 100% stock M340i. Many guys on the forums have ran it for 40k plus miles with zero issues.
running e50 is def reliable and very common in b58s, it literally feels like a new car, but you're not wrong stage 2 is definitely perfect for dailying but try xhp stage 3 out
to clear up any confusion here, I mean this respectfully. Getting under your car and getting familiar with what's going on will save you thousands and make your life a whole lot easier. Second, lot of weird comments but with that downpipe you can run an e50 blend OTS or reach out to a quality b58 tuner for a custom tune which should be cheap considering mods. You don't need a flex fuel kit, you don't need a better hpfp (gen 2 b58 comes with a TU pump) just load the tune and measure ethanol blends. test the pump once a week. Good luck. P.s. clean the whip bro lol.
I just finished the video today. Its getting black on your bumper because when its catless all the exhaust fumes are just coming out so its making your bumper black. Once you get the exhaust tops it should be a lot better. And the diffuser is being burned by the exhaust probably. Thats why it looks crazy
Also it is your exhaust that is blowing on the back of the diffuser pushing the clips out. That is where the black exhaust soot is coming from as well. That diffuser is known to work its way out and come unclipped on its own, however your exhaust is making it worse. I would make sure the exhaust is not melting anything under there.
@dandogg9 Unfortunately not. They never run sales on them because they try to keep the cost as low as possible at all times. But worth it anyways as they have the best customer support too.
@dandogg9 Also check out their diffusers if you want a replacement. I have one of theirs on my car. You can see my video I have posted. They have a few options
Yo lmao i just got the AKA diffuser hopefully mine is good LOL, also you should get Xhp Trans tune also. look into it if you want better shifts and faster shifts
The less ethanol you use the safer it is buttttttt I have a 340i with a upgraded hpfp tuned with stage2+ E30 and bro I run perfectly fine for weeks plus im at 510hp
BRO ur shit is black in the back after you got downpipes because you prolly be shooting flames directly into ur diffuser and that’s why it’s falling off too
