Yeah I wanna do the rear seats now. I have another video I'll probably put up tomorrow for a flar bottom steering wheel swap. It feels like a sportwagon now. Hopefully has prices will go down sometime soon.

The instructions he sent me were specifically for B7 seats so I don't think they'd work for B8 seats and could be dangerous. If you get the brackets he'll give you instructions if you ask. He may even give them without.
good timing on this , I've been figuring out on fitting my B6 S4 Recros into the 05 allroad. From the research on the forums & such with your filming the wiring steps you've taken, It's cleared up some questions I was puzzling over. But seeing your front bracket, I cannot understand why on either side of the 2 center bolt points there is those square pieces.. Wht do they connect or slide into which being perpendicular doesn't seem they're needed. I hve the mewl stock so Ill just fabricate my own brackets, but today I ws refinishing the pair of Mercedes 18x9.5 rears which will replace the 18x8.5's fronts I'm currently running.. Much to do between today Saturday & next Sunday for Cffeine & Carburetors Waveny Park event in New Canaan CT.. Wrap the hood & roof, paint the roof rails, finish off the front end honeycomb grilles, replace both front outer CV joints....
@@cmidas3396 i think they hold the seat in place instead of the back bar that is needed on the B6 recaros which cuts off leg room for the rear passengers
good job on the seats. I have C5 S6 seats in mine now. I am wondering if you think its worth it over the recaros you have now. my only dilemma is the seat airbags. I think the resistors will make the airbag light go off but in case of a accident I would rather the airbags actually work.
Yeah I just wanted a sport seat and these were easily available for now. I'd go with S6 / RS6 later if I can find them for a good price in the same color scheme with Alcantara. That's why I made sure to modify the seat harness instead of the body harness so it will be plug & play if I switch later.
The airbags won’t work. There can’t possibly be someone saying they work who’s actually being truthful. You’ll need resistors to keep the dash light off.
Yeah there's a couple post where people are saying they got them to work or atleast got the airbag light off without resistors. I'm guessing it might be coding or replacing the module.
