On our way further south in Florida for the winter, we made a quick overnight stop at Stagecoach RV Park in St. Augustine, FL. It was the perfect stop - we got some rest and ran a few quick (but necessary) areas in the St. Augustine area.
We enjoyed this park because it was incredibly peaceful (aside from the acorns… or whatever they were) falling on the roof of our RV.
If you’re looking for a campground that is near the St. Augustine Trolley, Fort Matanzas National Monument, or any other attractions in the St. Augustine area, Stagecoach RV Park in St. Augustine, FL is a great choice. It's affordable and close to the action yet tucked away so that you can escape the hustle and bustle for peace and quiet during a relaxing evening.
On top of spacious sites (you'll see how our 36 foot rig fit), there was plenty of recreational activity around the campground - including the dog park.
I would add Stagecoach RV Park in St. Augustine to your list - whether you are looking for a quick getaway or a longer-term stay. Book early because the park was rather full (only one open spot) when we stayed in early December 2022.
