Congrats on the 800th video! That is quite an accomplishment and I have been thankful for being a subscriber for several years. Always great content and I appreciate your efforts and thoughts. After searching for more years than I care to admit, I finally was able to grab two bottles of Stagg 23B at $10 above retail. I concur with your notes and am thankful to enjoy a pour on my own.

100% agree that it’ll always be Stagg Jr no matter what Buffalo Trace tries to call it and that 22A is a monster of a batch. And most of all, congrats on 800 Jason!

🎉congrats on 800! I have both 23 A and B. I have to say I lean more toward the 23B personally. The deep dark.. buttered molasses caramel.. that i get from it is blissful. Unfortunately haven't had the 22a yet.

I just got started into Bourbon 1 year ago and the first one I saw had the "STAGG" name, no junior. I've never seen a George T Stagg at an affordable price. So, I know them as Stagg and wishful GTS, Unicorn. Congratulations on your 800's video. I'm a great fan.

I was lucky enough to get two Bottles of Stagg 22A this year. I plan on blinding it against My ECBP C923 in my top 5 bourbons of the year. JD 12 & Disco 11 are also in the running.

I've collected so many stagg Juniors when they first came out and years down the line. A couple years ago when I stop buying them. I didn't know they got that expensive and been that popular!

I finally able to get a Stagg after years of looking, and passed on secondary prices. It was Batch 18. I doubt I'll get any newer batches, so hard.

I’ve lucked out this year and grabbed my first Stagg, for better or worse, I found 22B and 23B, which don’t sound quite as good as the “A” releases but still solid. And congrats on 800! 🎉

22b is good, just more woody compared to the 22a, which is sweeter. I have a case of 22a, it being my favorite, but would love to have a 22b. 23a is a plain jane. havent had 23b yet. 17 is great too.

A case of stagg?!?! Thats crazy!!! Dudes cant even find one bottle, and you got a case. I wish. I have 22b, which i had to wait in line for a point redemption day and choose 1 of several other bottles. Eventhough i had points for multiple bottles, they only allowed 1 per person unless got back in line, but line was so big there would have been nothing left worth waiting for

Mmmm Stagg pops lol sounds delicious Jason! These all sound like winners. For me batch 17 has been my favorite, big fan of 22b and enjoy 16 as well. Really enjoy a nice fruity RR13 and SiB. That being said from batch 15-23B (minus the for mentioned) which would you say would be a good Stagg/jr based on what I mentioned?

How does ECBP stack up against Stagg. I don't see them as often and their secondary gets up there. I would think with the age of ECBP would beat Stagg but don't really know since I haven't had one yet. Thanks for tuereview so I'm prepared if I happen to see both

The age is the obvious differentiator. I think Stagg is overall sweeter usually.

They only started doing the batch numbers in 2022. Before that you only knew what batch you had by the proof

So, it occurred to me today that your videos are waaaay too “jumpy”. I find myself listening versus watching. So many random hard cuts, it makes it very difficult to watch. Congratulations on 800 videos, I wish you much success!
