This is much worthy!!! I create stair but not to this perfection and thanks for this tutorial!!! Hope I learn with your support... keep posting more videos with simple explanations!!! Thanks
Thanks. This solves the section view nicely. I still really wonder how we could deal with the plan view, in your method or "end with tread", both will cause an additional line in plan view, which is quite confusing
I just saw another similar video on this. This is not how you do it. Please do this: Once you finish stretching out or dragging out the stair. click on the stair you just made and look at your Properties: Construction - Uncheck - End with riser. This means it will end with a tread instead.
@@SimpleorDifficult sure, there are many ways one can do things in revit. Some ways are best, and what the program was intended to be used. The way this is explained is unnecessary due to procedures that already take care of those issues. The more things done manually in revit, the more one breaks the connectivity, ie BIM, hence one is not using it as it was intended.
This is a good hack, but wouldn't it be better to simply make the stair end with a landing instead of a riser? You can search on youtube, that would be a much better solution that is much cleaner more efficient in the long run
