Stair connection to the floor slab

Did you try another approach to resolve the issue that maintains stair integrity? Try the following steps 1- Select the stair 2- Edit stair 3- Select the run 4- Uncheck the "End with riser" in properties filed under construction 5- Add one step to compensate for the missing step and reach the required level

Wouldn’t it be nice if autodesk played catchup and fixed this construction error... This is a good solution except that there is an additional line added at the top of the stair in plan view. I tried to join to the floor using matching materials etc. no luck.

Not an additional step, but this method adds additional tread and need to start the staircase one tread length back. Not always ideal, especially when there is space restriction
