I have so much to say about this! You *do not* need to spend thousands of dollars on a Custom Shop or even Gibson USA guitar to have identical playing experience and tone -- a used LP Studio with the right pickups will absolutely get you there. Many Epiphone LPs are EXCELLENT and just a pickup upgrade away from being tonally indistinguishable from some of history's most iconic recordings. Don't dispair -- the price of getting great LP tone isn't nearly the price of a great LP. Rock on bro.
Good job. You are done practicing/progressing. Play along to the recording, up to tempo and all will be good. You have a couple minor rhythmical errors that you will catch easily when you play with the original (Which is a Tele bridge pickup btw, not a Les Paul)
@@salimel4835 A buddy and I were just talking about SGs yesterday. Personally, I think I'd want something in a walnut or dark brown / chocolate finish. The world has plenty of vintage cherry SGs already 🤣🤣
Hey thanks Tal, that's really cool of you to say bro. This video was supposed to be a point-in-time progress check-in for comparison with a more polished effort later, which I recorded but haven't uploaded yet. Thanks for your kindness to a student learning a new piece. 🙏 Cheers!
@@ScotticusZ I'm betting you put a lot of hours into learning that. People who don't play don't get it. I always admire a guy who's puttin' in his dues. Cheers!
