I listened to this song, every week on the way back from my harp lessons, when I was only seven. I thought it was the best thing ever, and I loved it so much. I moved on, grew older and forgot, but now I’m back, nostalgia at its finest. I’m almost thirteen now, and how time has free by. Happy 2023 everyone, and I hope all of your years are bright, and bring you as much joy as this song has to me.

That is a beautiful rendition of one of my favourite songs from back in the 1971. In the 1980s I was manager of a small events hall and I was the manager and projectionist showing the film 'The Song Remains the Same'. It was a concert tour documentary, and the film was on 16mm cinema film and they had done the changeover splice from reel 1 to reel 2 just before the Stairway to Heaven part. I screwed up and missed the cue dots that signify turning projector 2 on to heat up the bulb and then seamlessly switching projector 1 off and transferring to projector 2. I missed it and there was a black screen for about 15 seconds with the audience Booing. So embarrassing, anyway Stairway to Heaven started, and at the end, it was such a rousing performance, the audience stood up and gave a standing ovation to the projection screen. Fast forward 30 years to 2010 and I am manager of an airport business class / first class lounge and I am looking after Robert Plant who is in Toronto collecting an award. I was chatting to him and I related my story to him. He laughed and clapped his hands as he got a real kick out of the story. Such a nice guy and I think he would love your version.

In school, I was doing a PowerPoint and my IT Fundamentals teacher played this while everyone was doing work. Sitting here with tears. This song was playing when I met the girl I would marry. We were in high school. We married 1978 after. She passed 2014. Thank you this is a very beautiful rendition of our song.

Such a perfect song to be done with harps. Almost like reverse irony, a classical trained band like Zeppelin, who rebelled to the dark side, now is being brought back to classical by some rebel harpists. Love it...
