From one sick drunken woman to a narcissistic murderer…this is one complicated story of a child being torn between two parents. Great movie but it also got me on edge worried about the child. Thank goodness she’s alright…👍❤️❤️
My ex was an alcoholic. If we had a child together, he would need supervised visitation or never seeing them. The mom's behavior is awful. People commenting poor her, and she just needs help, were never a victim of an alcoholic. The dad should have sat down with the daughter and explained why she mother is not in their lives. Let her understand that its not her fault that her mother isn't there. The daughter seems mature enough to understand.
We teach our children to disregard their bonding feelings towards a parent. We teach them to ignore their innate sense of loyalty and connection. Then, one day they turn against us too and dump us is a convalescent home, never to be seen again. We rip what we sow.
She was married, but the husband left her when she started to numb her pain with alcohol. He should have fulfilled his vows and helped her through the bad times instead of dumping her. He should have been more empathetic towards her.
@@jefaspirit Are you f'ing serious?????? Clearly you have NEVER been victimized in a relationship....... But in the end all VICTIMS are SURVIVORS.......
We don’t know why the mom was a drunk in the first place. People don’t just start drinking for no reason. It’s usually to mask some deep pain. Do we know if the husband was being abusive to her? Had he cheated on her? Had she been abused as a child? I guess we don’t know and we shouldn’t care. All we’re supposed to do is accept that the mom was a drunk who didn’t deserve to be a mom. She somehow had to be all alone to deal with her drunkenness, with her jail sentence, with her adjusting to society once she served her time, and finally with facing rejection as she attempted to reconnect with her daughter. We’re supposed to ally with the father as he’s trying to erase the mother so he can go on his perfect life with a younger, more beautiful woman. I guess we’re supposed to celebrate the fact that he won the parental alienation game and that the mother is dead and gone for good. 🤦♀️ What happened to compassion? What happened to marriage vows to be there for each other in sickness and in health? What happened to “blood is thicker than water?” What happened to mother/child bonds? No wonder many young people don’t want to have kids anymore.
I can't understand, if he was the one who killed her friend, why did they think that she died from the car accident? I mean, you can see that she was struggled? Like wtf they were doing with the investigation, incompetenti
Lots of inconsistencies here, especially when he was sitting in a chair, she saw his legs and just kept walking! And the little girl act like she never heard or saw her mother with all of that yelling!😵💫
Y’all clearly didn’t hear them say they went to court bc of her drinking problem which wasn’t safe for the kid and also the assault towards her use to be husband 😭🤦🏽♀️
Another idiotic lifetime movie, he cannot replace the childs mother or refuse the child to see her. She could have supervised time with her. People who use their kids as power pawns shouldn't have kids.
Thank you! Even if she went to prison immediately following the incident where she attempted to drive drunk with the child. They would not have terminated her right. They would have given her a case plan. Men and women can both be awful when it comes to children. They own them. That's why s*** like this just doesn't happen.
Nobody is better than anybody else. We are all the same. Do you mean that the fiancee is "better" because she's younger? thinner? more "successful?" God does not see those things at all. We are all equal in His eyes. The mom loved her daughter with all her heart, mind, soul, and strength. A mom's love is the most similar love to God's love. We cannot stop loving our children, EVER. We might go insane if we lose our child. Many people commit sui
Crikey, if someone proposed to me, lookin' like a tweaker, I'd run. Just sayin'... What annoys me about this film is that our "father of the year" here refuses to allow his daughter to see her mother, in a SAFE environment. Only a control freak would behave like this. The child's mother has paid for her actions already. And finally, I'll say that these movies do more harm than good. Phrases like "you chose the bottle over your daughter,/child/spouse etc.," are highly inflammatory. NOBODY SETS OUT TO BE AN ALCOHOLIC or A DRUG ADDICT! NOBODY. That's just a fact. All drugs have the ability to alter the neural pathways in your brain and change your life forever. Nuff said, I think I've made my point.
Of course you choose your addiction - it is tough to resist (because of the addictiveness of whatever), but only the addict can say NO. (Been there, know what I am on about.)
This happens a lot. I dated a guy who had an ex like this one. I ran like chased by wolves. Her kids don’t see her anymore now that they’re teenagers. People forget that good parenting is not a sprint, it’s a marathon and it’s lots of daily work to be the best parent you can be for your kid. Parenting and marriage is daily hard work, not some romanticized Hollyweird version we see every day on tv.
The girls mother was actually crazy. I understand she wanted her daughter back but she went about it all wrong. She almost killed the girls father. But the father wasnt exactly making it easy cuz he kept the girl away from her. He couldve at least let them see each other in a safe environment. That way the girl wont sneak off to meet her mother. But this is the wrong title. It should be My ex is stalking me😂. The womans ex was the one killing everyone. That was a crazy twist cuz I wasnt expecting him.
@@jefaspirit Either way she was crazy and needed help. There's no excuse to hit your husband with a rock because he taking her daughter while she was drinking
This is up setting that's that lady kid and understanding she put her child in danger but she said she sorry and she showing everyone that she she sorry and that she will be a better mother and they not listen to her and as a mother she was broken inside and had a mental breakdown and starting harming people I mean it's was wrong what she did but they didn't give her a chance to prove to be a safe mother around her own child y'all just shut her out like she didn't carry her child for 9 months and as a mother that will make me angry knowing I can't see my child again because of one accidentally one hell no but someone can kill a person and do time and get a second chance in life smh 🤨I feel bad for that woman mental health is real
Exactly. The mom served her time. She cleaned up. She wanted to see her child. She had the right to see her child. I guess everyone just wanted her to disappear and forget that she ever had a daughter.
This movie contains an impossible scenario: Father sees birth mother standing there ALIVE as she's hiding in the back room of the restaurant, and then she's supposedly dead within seconds. When would ex have had time to strangle her?? It takes more than a few seconds, and father would have seen him do it right then and there.
1:18:17 so this is supposed to be the highlight of the movie? When the little girl calls the “new mom” mom???? And the little girl doesn’t even care that her biological mom is dead? What the heck???? Messed up times we live in.
@@Tweedlededumdum have you heard of parental alienation??? After the mom served her time and cleaned up, the father was still not cooperating in the mom/daughter reunification process. In a divorce, sometimes it’s much more convenient for the curatorial parent to simply erase the other parent. No wonder we have so many narcissistic kids who do not hesitates to shoot their classmates. We have trained them to be cold-blooded, non-human creatures.
I think it's okay for a kid to have a cell phone to call someone in case of emergency, and the parent or guardian has a phone tracker on the child's phone. But internet access? No way. It's potentially dangerous for the child, as we see in the film.
@@SkyeID Actually, it's better they work on Socialization skills, and adults be great mentors. Get real. Cell phones?? All those "robots" with their heads in their phones. Unable to socialize, even communicate. I remember when Special Ed was a minority. Now we have Special Needs kids being the majority. The excellent students are a minority. Jesus, let kids be kids. Make friends and have fun. Not sit all day on their phones, or even I-Pads, with severe depression. Making "friends" with people who turn out to be fake, and people who create a unrealistic version of themselves. A computer is for research, and papers. Phones don't need to be used in schools. Texting, sexting, creating problems. At school the adults call the parents. When they reach 18, they can buy whatever the hell they want. IF THEY WORK FOR IT!!! I used to work with Special Ed kids while in college. I am a Criminologist/Theatre/Medical Asst graduate. Yeah, I was an intelligent kid. Let me just tell you. Those kids that I was working with in Special Ed class were more intelligent than any Yale graduate of today. lol
Different time and day. We also didn’t have the time of dangers and evil lurking as well. We didn’t feel the need to be equipped with devices in order to call home and we didn’t have school shootings and lockdowns and the nonsense we face today. Appreciate those times and prepare yourself for the New. Be blessed.
It's not like you didn't have cellphone coz cellphone aka smartphones wasn't even a thing so you people never thought of having something that doesn't even exist.
U shouldn't get in a relationship when u gna have trouble and depart without trying to work things out. When things dont work out then depart but remind good friends!
Sorry but she should not be kept away from her child. He can move on with another woman all he wants. But even if it has to be supervised the mother should be allowed to see her child.
@@adrianashiffler8498 Even when she stopped drinking, and had a job, he still would not let her see her daughter. The father is a gaslighter, narcissistic, manipulative, and passive-aggressive cold-blooded man.
I don't know how a girl at her age is going to tell her soon to be mom " I'm old enough to care about herself I mean that child is not old enough to drive a car let alone old enough to care for herself Lisa is a kid not an adult
This little girl is very slick kids you can't trust them not even fir a minute..the mother isn't fit enough to be around nor see her daughter shed to irresponsible..also shes a murderer
Supervised visits would have been the right thing to do under most circumstances but this mother was deeply disturbed I wouldn't trust her even then to pull something good movie sad The friend had to be killed
Some cases they’re bitter their ex has moved on. In this case I think the mother was kept away from her daughter. The whole situation could’ve easily been avoided if she was allowed to at least see her daughter and spend time with her under supervision.
If you had of watched until the END you’d know Kristin's EX admitted to killing both women....!!!!!!!!! It just so happened that the father came in & she was dead already!!!!!!
Do you think even its your daughter did the husband will trust you again that your behavior its not normal crazy and stupid thing if you want your daughter back first get a job and talk so nicely to your husband ok
Directors need to stop actors using vocal fry! It's sooo unpleasant to listen to. Good actors really can *use* their voice in all it's dimensions to present their characters more unique. They literally *own* their voice and are very different in the movies and theatre play they have a roll in. From sweet and tender to harsh and loud, all vocal nuances are presented, even within a roll, always presenting the exact feeling according to the character's needs. Also when reading audio books, they are capable of using their voice to present text that is pleasurable to listen to. Only bad actors constantly use this vocal fry, which is so very annoying as it doesn't show any emotions or in depth character traits. They just seem artificial, which ruins the whole film. I also dislike vocal fry when men do it, but as men have deep voices by nature, it's not as disgusting as when women do it. In real life, I don't take women doing this seriously. They use vocal fry to seem more serious, but in reality it's just pathetic due to it's artificial characteristic. It's *not* cool, nor does it imply intelligence. One of the many examples at 13:25
My nephew is going through a situation with his ex-wife who is on meth. She’s nutty tries to look in the windows of his house to see his new wife and her daughter and his kids with the ex they have a new baby and she wants to move in with them. Funny her name is Nina too.
That's very sad. I would love to help people like your nephew's ex deal with their loss. It is incredibly difficult to deal with that kind of stuff, but God can help. I am being called to help. May God help us all be more empathetic and more loving.
