im a new stalker fan. Didnt start playing till about a year or two ago and I almost turned away from the franchise because it was so hard. But i stuck it out, started reading about the game, getting involved in conversations, watching tutorials and it quickly turned into my favorite series after halo. The community is so cool, and i cant wait to jump into the zone with this release
There are things I noticed in the trailer that have only ever been seen in concept art. Like the tornado. Also, the return of the "Guide" in the form of a tutorial section in the PDA just like SoC. And the classic psy-effect sounds. They are not catering to the modding community and sticking truly to their roots, and I give GSC a very heartfelt thank you for that. Long Live STALKER! @sergiolol3439 Well it's been over a decade or two since CoP right? 100 Rads is either no more, or they moved further into the zone due to Stalkers constantly pushing towards Pripyat. Gotta move where theres business, theres a chance the bartender in Rostok is deceased too so I am gonna go with it no longer exists.
I haven't been this excited for a new game in YEARS! I got goosebumps while watching that trailer 🤩 Tornadoes scare the hell out of me, so whether that one featured in the trailer is an anomaly or part of the weather, all I know is I'm not gonna want to get anywhere near it, lol
Everything I've taken from the trailers makes me think we don't play the game solely through one characters perspective. Of course nothing is confirmed but it was an idea that you would not play as just Strelok in the original game but they realized due to time and engine constraints that the characters would be separated into multiple games. So far looks like we will play as Skif, and an unnamed American Merc/Government oriented individual. Also, what happened to Strider at the end of CoP? I really hope we meet him again. Edit: Completely forgot for a moment that he was confirmed to be in the game. The thought makes me grin lol
I'm starting to get a lot of black ops's "frank woods" vibes from Richter. I'm thinking maybe he's actually dead, but a part of him is still with you in your mind/memories.
@@WTFSexyHeadphones me too! That would be amazing. The good part is it's there. I'm very good with UE5 so worst case I can easily make it spawn with mods, move across a spline, and despawn. Mods will be incredible!

my hypothesis about how tornadoes will work: if you are caught by the edge of the tornado you get damage (either from fall damage or shrapnel damage from objects) but if you are hidden in a structure the tornado reaches above you and you can go out into the eye of the tornado (you don't take damage) to collect the artifacts that appear (the red dot on the detector) or it's just another hazard in the Zone and you need to hide from it
You may not have seen women in the Zone, but they seem to have added one Stalker of colour 8) I kind of wish they added women as some anomaly, a mutant or at least an ominous hallucination.
Love the shooting and reloading scenes too.I used to being more about damage like 7.62 guns but G36 changed my mind in many games.The most accurate weapon in the world,period!
True, US ranks number one with an average of 1,200 a year and the second ranking country is Canada at average of 100 per year. Such a rare event for all other places.
The tornado might do some of the things I was hoping for: like with the technology we have now, modders made rain puddles, but why not have trees fall from an emission? Maybe the tornado can do this, would be cool. This reminds me of the fallout loading screen where you see a tornado but there's no such thing in the games.
An experienced stalker comes to a crossroad in the Zone. He looks around and sees a roadsign. To the left - weak monsters, few anomalies, bad loot. Straight - average monsters, more anomalies, nice loot. To the right - drinks, women, amazing loot. Stalker thought about it and went straight... thinking to himself - next time I am at the Bar i should remember to ask the others... whet the heck are "drinks and women"?
Wow this looks fantastic. I love it when I can recognise areas from the first game. Can't wait for this. Here's hoping that the release date stays where it is - although us stalker fans are ok with it slipping - as long as it releases in a good state - that's the main thing!! Only thing that concerns me are the number of obvious cut scenes - I hope they don't steal control away from the player too often - that's what I didn't like about the metro games
GSC never seemed to like taking the control away from the play for very long. Looks like they will have some timed events with that hand to hand, and the scene we saw kicking the dog off in previous trailers. They can be fun, but panicking with whatever weapon you have on you when something pops up on you is always a fun survival experience. Like turning around to the pseudogiant with that RPG. Nightmare of a time turning to see that with THAT weapon. I without a doubt would panic fire and blow myself up. That is what makes it fun though.
@@WTFSexyHeadphones yeah that’s very true. In the first game there so few I can barely remember any say for the helicopter crash in Wild Territory. Haha that pseudo giant looks proper terrifying. Although I always run a mile when I seem them in the current games!,
@@WTFSexyHeadphones Because olive looks like a pistol bullet. And I should said this is prison slang. When this slang began to form, bandits had more deal with pistols than riffles. That is probably the reason for the naming. Why we can hear such slang in the Zone? Because bandits, many of whom were in prison, came to the Zone for easy money. Prison slang is considered nasty language. If you hear someone using it, you stay away from them.
Guys from IBIS channel tested a trophy AS Val (VSS). It's not so good as in game. It's subsonic and smokes alot. Normal (level 4-5) vest can stop its bullet. As I understood.
@@WTFSexyHeadphones I dont why in the game devs made these rifles so powerful. Also, the rifle doesnt have rails so no upgrades etc. But + is the weight.
"I caught a bullet!" in Ukrainian he said "Замаслинили!". What mean more like caught an olive (means a bullet). So it's must be something like "Olivered!" or "Olived!".

I don't know the names of the guns, but the white one with the built in scope that takes a weird size ammo and goes "tik tik tik tik" when you fire it, that's the one I've used the most. There is literally no excuse not to have female characters in any modern game. Any so called "reason" anyone comes up with is pure cowardice if it's not outright sexism. If there's anything you have personally proved over the years, it's that women belong in the Zone!
@@Taldirok because its a different time now and games like stalker dont use or need crosshairs, it takes away from immersion and immersion is stalker's goal
I can only draw one thing from the trailer, the enemy AI is crap. They come towards you and shoot nothing else where in the old stalker they used covers. The more information I get, the more this game looks like a scam like the day before
The developers wrote that they specifically disabled the AI for the cinematography of the trailer. the game itself will have 4 levels of AI difficulty
The enemy is put on easy mode for the trailers. Depending on the fights, the enemies will come towards you a lot point blank to the point of it being maddening. Playing Clear Sky in the swamps a few days back, there were multiple points of having the enemy rush at me in the open before backtracking behind the wall again. Buggers get you on the reload at times. They also probably for the sake of action and time don't want to show the stand off kind of deals you can get. We shall see though ^^
is she a stalker fan? I approve, I don’t believe that they add the black guy in the stalker but didn’t add the stalker’s girl (at least some kind of Hip like in the original book by the Strugatsky brothers) I'm sure this will be a big event before the start of the game. you are beautiful👍😍
