In this video we will look at the rarest and most valuable stamps and discuss the history behind them. The stamps we will look at are:
- Hawaiian Missionaries (Dawson Cover)
- Treskilling Yellow
- Inverted Jenny
-Mauritius "Post Office" (Mauritius Blue and Mauritius Red)
- British Guiana 1c Magenta
Note that the Benjamin Franklin Z Grill is not included in the list as its value is derived from a swap that was heavily influenced by Bill Gross wanting a complete collection and not by actual auction results.

Years ago, there was an author of motivational selling named Elmo Walker. He said that you sell the sizzle, and not the steak. With this in mind, this motivational technique is used in the history of a great stamp rarity. The story is half the value of a stamp rarity.

This story about the murder of a stamp collector is utter nonsense. Old stories die hard, and there is no documentation to bear witness to the forgery of a story. This murder is actually incorporated in a serialized story in a magazine.

What a coincidence that most of the stamps were found by a young boy, in Guyana, in Sweden, nowadays we know it is just a sales argument, to drive up the price, its common in philately.
