Stan plays a mischievous & clumsy worker in a lumber factory, in this classic short film. [This film has been uploaded in tribute to Stan's birthday, he would have been 120 today! Here's to Stan, the ultimate comic!]
Filmed 89 years ago and still fresh as ever! I can see quite a bit of Chaplin's influence on Stan's comedy and why not? Stan was his understudy when they were both with the Karno comedy troupe back in England. And even some of these gags were used again ten years later when L&H were found working in a lumber yard in 1932's "Busy Bodies." Thanks for posting this early Laurel comedy. No one like that these banal days.
