No, there was no sound with this -- they're all old movies, after all.
Stan Lee, famous creator of comics including the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man and X-Men is shown in a more personal light.
These are, in fact, his actual home movies, which were released in the 2002 "Stan Lee's Mutants, Monsters & Marvels" video.
He looks like a nice guy. Good on ya, Stan! :)

Goodbye, Joan. What an amazing woman. The love between her and Stan is obvious and deep. My deepest sympathies to Stan and her family and her friends. All the good people are leaving us. We should grieve for ourselves and our planet.

I am amazed that stan was exactly as bald at the front as he is now , guess he got lucky with that .
@afonsolucas2219
@afonsolucas2219 3 года назад
Well, Stan was balding at that time. At some point in the late 60s he got hair plugs. If not the late 60s, then the 70s and wore an hair piece until he got it. Then he had thick good looking hair for some time and had it until his passing.

Thanks for the upload. I have this DVD too, it's great isn't it. I was just watching it last night. (Something to do when I'm going through San Diego Comic Con withdrawals. :P )I want what this couple has. 60 happy years together, and counting. Wow, how awesome is that? And to this day, they both still have the energy and passion of two teenagers in love. I want that...Anyhow, it'd be awesome if you'd put up Stan's "God Woke" poem someday.

Great video :-). This was Stan Lee (born 1922) and his wife Joan Lee (1922-2017) in those really old home videos? Was it really? Stan Lee looked handsome when he was younger and he wife Joan looked pretty when she was younger too :-). Stan wasn't wearing his sunglasses then :-O. I thought he needed prescripted sunglasses throughout his life. He looks entirely different in his old home movie compared to how he looks now. But Joan has always looked fairly similar the way I've seen the pictures of her as a younger woman and to how she looked as an older woman before she passed away. Awww their daughter looked cute when she was little. But a really good video and I'm sure Stan Lee watched this youtube video everyday which is what I'm guessing :-). Alright then, have a nice evening and take care :-). From Foxy :-).

tom hanks could play him in a movie
@batman4452
@batman4452 6 лет назад
Tom Hanks could play anyone in a movie, doesn't mean he would be good.. I think he would be terrible, especially trying to be a younger Stan Lee, Tom Hanks is like 60 something, and would need to lose a lot of weight to be accurate. There's way more actors, and better actors than people like Tom Hanks. Hate when people just go for big name actors. It's like you work for the studios, "who can play him the best, that would ALSO bring in people from his popularity so we make a lot of money? Doesn't need to be the best casted, as long as they're popular!"
@Seras99
@Seras99 6 лет назад
Or maybe.... Kevin Fegie.... I know what you maybe thinking.... "Why him? He's a producer! Not an actor!" Well.... He's more than just a regular producer. He's a special type. The type that have pure passion from filmmaking. So let's have him in his first acting role as a young Stan Lee.

I quite agree. The youngish happy version of Stan Lee looks as if Stan himself was acting like a real teenager a little bit and seeing the retake introductory of this video seeing his wife Joan standing behind their house wall of her just smiling and then the next thing you see is Stan just squeezing energetically alongside Joan and nearly constantly kissing her. I could see why Joan was holding onto Stan's face because it was stop Stan from being too silly whenever giving her a kiss and not far too many kisses but of course they were husband and wife of course but Sadly Joan passed away on 6th July 2017 :-(. Never mind but I don't know how much longer Stan is going to last for though. We just never know. The scene towards the end Stan was really acting like a silly teenager when he was skipping on JC and Joan's skipping rope :-O :-). I could never imagine myself skipping on a girls skipping rope when I'm in my 30's and I'm only 17. I hope Joan and JC didn't tell Stan Lee off about him skipping on their skipping rope. I'd be really embarrassed if I skipped on a skipping rope when I'm in my 30's and I'd certainly be embarrassed now if I skipped on a skipping rope at the age I am now which is 17. Oh well, but Stan looked as if he was having fun on the skipping rope and that's ok :-). But don't think I'm annoyed about Stan Lee acting like a teenager as a young man because I have nothing terrible against it but as long as he didn't incompetently stupid stuff or otherwise Joan would really have to tell him if he did it in the 1950's or if he tried to do it know if Joan were still alive. Alright then, have a nice evening and take care :-). From Foxy :-).
