If you think about what happened to Em when he first came out....everyone was out to cancel him: Everything he dropped caused issues with someone and people were losing their minds about him. In a way, Tom is in that same lane: Totally different rappers with different styles, but Tom is definitely on the trail that Em blazed. So, in that way, Tom has not strayed from what he always says about himself. I mean he is willing to call out his idol Em when he does some BS like saying he didn't want fans that voted for Trump.
