In reality, these shank style designs are finite in the available length adjustment. Whereas a strap is infinitely adjustable. The release set up needs to fit you, the archer. Not you HAVING to adapt to it. If you will notice in nearly every video you see with people using a solid shank type release of any brand the index finger is NEVER HOOKED over the trigger. The tip of the finger is used and we all know what that leads to- drive by punching! Nearly everyone that is set up that way WILL START PUNCHING! Very few people will be able to shoot it accurately. IMO
