D not Detroit , D12 - Dirty Dozen - (Dozen = Twelve) - and 12 = 6 memebr each one has 2 personalites

This is so funny because people kept saying that Em left D-12 because he blew up and he thinks he’s the star etc. the reality is that D-12 was Proof’s rap crew and they all came up with Marshall. Em was a solo MC, after he blew, he scooped up his boys and made Shady records to sign them. They are D-12 because 6 rappers with alter egos. Anyway, one of the crew, Bugz, was killed but they had a lot of obligations to do shows and so many albums on their contract. To help them and honor his friend Bugz, he asked to take the spot for fun so that the contract/money etc wouldn’t have to be repaid and Bugz family could still have some support etc. D-12 even had a sort of famous beef with Royce, but Em stayed out of it mostly. If anyone was the lead singer of the band, it was Proof.

Shame it was clean version, many lyrics missed here.

Kuniva is a part of D-12. This whole song is a joke. He was joking about the knife.

Someone else probably already explained this, but I thought I'd make sure. 🤣 D12 is short for Dirty Dozen. The "12" is something Proof (RIP) came up with for their name. Originally, there were 6 guys: Proof, Eminem, Bizarre, Mr. Porter, Kuniva and Bugz (RIP) - added later was Swifty McVay. [Contrary to popular belief, Swifty McVay did NOT replace Bugz. In some sort of cosmic twist, Bugz was already trying to bring Swifty McVay into D12 when he was shot.] Each of the 6 guys had 2 personalities, like Em and Slim Shady, hence the 12 in their name. 😁

The 12 is how many members the group was supposed to have. In a documentary em and proof both said they had the idea to make a supergroup so to speak but wound up w 6 and kept the name. RIP proof. I used to listen to all his albums mixtapes before he died.
