Stand In Teardrop 

Nice, I took a $400 shed 8' by 12' and put $1,800 into it, two 400 watt solar panels, 100 ah lifepo4, trailer, grill, storage. It came to $2,200. Always do DIY, you get exactly what you want.

I love this idea! We have 2 kids and are considering having a third. We love the idea of teardrops and small campers, but space is always an issue. But, to step up, you get to the big manufacturer bunkhouse trailer and there's no more outside kitchen, suddenly there's a bathroom and a microwave and it's now a giant 22 foot monstrosity. I saw you list the price in one of the other comments. Great job adding features and size and still keeping the price reasonable! This is currently at the top of our list!

This is what the market needs at the moment. Lots of pickups truck and SUV or minivan can tow it easily.

I was able to see this first hand when I picked up my standard 6x12 and was extremely impressed. Bend Teardrop makes an awesome product and can't wait to see how this one evolves.

Need to have a place for a portable toilet. So doors under the bunks... Love this concept! Uncomplicated standy with outdoor kitchen, yay!

Yes!!!! This covers two issues, hight and outside kitchen. Why I don’t like very many trailers bc they don’t have the outdoor kitchen. We loved the 6x12 when we rented this past summer and it helped have 3 ppl and a dog. This is a great solution!

I hope your next iteration joins the rental fleet. I would love to try this out!

I am super psyched to see how this shakes out. Doing the full thru underbunk like the 6x12 would be bomber for paddles/skis/long crap that's hard to pack in the car but too dirty to go in the sleeping area.

I was really close to pulling the trigger on the standard 6x12 teardrop yesterday, but I would really like another 6" or so of height in the interior. This is almost exactly what I'm looking for... but my garage is only 7'! Apparently, I'm a bit of a Goldilocks, haha. Anyway, it looks like it will be great for those with better storage options. I couldn't agree more about the outdoor kitchen being essential, and I love that this model's hatch provides better weather coverage. I also like the planned modifications, and the suggestion in the comments to have an under-bunk passthrough option. Best of luck with this one!

Hey Dave, just as we bought our 6x12 from ya you come out with an awesome camper concept like this. I have never seen a teardrop like this and I love it. So do you do trade ins? Just kidding, we love the standard 6x12. I really like the darker wood behind the gally shelves. Great idea and floor plan. You are one of very few companies that accommodate a family with a teardrop design.

Looks great, thanks for posting! I was already sold on the 6X12; this would be EPIC. However, need to store in garage and be 80 inches/6.67 feet or less. The trailer height here looks around 8 feet. Looks pretty great though!

This is EXACTLY what I have been searching for for YEARS! Please, please, please don't make this an unaffordable trailer. There is literally nothing on the market with bunk beds (for 2 kids) and an outdoor gally kitchen. Very excited and will definitely be keeping my eyes peeled. Is there an estimated release year at least? Are you thinking sometime in 2024? 🤞

Needs an awning & the top bunk should be able to handle 300lbs. I’d also add a bracket on the outside to mount a grill or something

We have one of your 5x10 models. Id love to see the front interior extended so a bigger bed could.

Hey Dave, nice video. We bought our teardrop from you back in 2019 and we love it! But with the back issues I've developed, it's harder and harder for me to get in and out of it. This concept would solve that problem! However, our garage clearance is only about 7' 11". Any possibility of building one a bit shorter?

Been wanting a tear drop for a while now but have 3 kids that makes it less optimal. This would be just the ticket especially with the fold down top bunk convert to sofa. Will keep my eyes on this

Only reason I’d want a taller version is if it had a wet bath.

Great tear drop concept. Can you work on reducing the height below 8' feet for those who want to store it in the garage and that'll be paramount to the production and for those who want to keep it garaged.

I really like the footprint of the beds with floor space. Wondering if something similar can be done in the regular 6x12? Meaning to say, with that size mattress on the standard 6X12, and the bunks, is there open floor space?

Also are you able to make changes like maybe just a queen size bed instead of the bunks ans full bed?

I'm 6 feet tall and its nice to stand up. Not to mention have space to stretch out to sleep. Do you sell these with empty cabins (I want to design my own) but have all the electrical, water and galley needs?

Love this but would love to see a version without the bunks and instead have a portable toilet room and closet with drawers.

Would you be able to create custom modifications for someone taller than 6'3 because I love the trailer but I'm 6'8 😅
