Stand Up Paddleboarding the Dry Fork of Escalante in Colorado making a possible first descent due to rare conditions during the extremely wet and incredible creek and river season of 2023. So grateful for the natural miracle that allowed this mostly clean run to happen despite its insanely tiny size. Synchronicity pulled together a number of lucky energies and thanks to my friends Bennett and Mike this came together. Mike wanted to show me this area and it just so happened we came upon the dry fork in these conditions. One day later I was running it, and then half a week later it was below runnable. Nature is just so cool.
