10 years later from when this video came, i at 33 years of age just bought my first paddle board. Got stoked as hell to try it out watching this!! 2 more days of work and it's and then it's off to the races with this sob up on the lakes here in Sweden. Thanks for the video!

Buying a seasonal cabin in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, and it has a large dock area steps away, so BIG TIME looking to get into paddleboarding the lake. I figure the workout will be a labor of love because I will absolutely love being out on the lake, checking the scenery, seeing a bald eagle, etc.

Your right Mitch !! , I just bought a Paddle board for when it’s really small surf out that I can’t ride my Shortboard .. it was the best thing I ever did !! So much fun ! Works out so sick I’ve already found 3 new hidden surf breaks for when the waves start to build back up !! And on top it still gets my ass out in the water when ever the surf sucks . Wicked Stoked about my SUP board ! Yeww

Mitch is right! We rent sups and almost everyone who returns from a two hour rental exclaims how tired and worn out they are. What they fail to realize is that feeling like that works for you .... not against. Join the growing fun of paddle boarding. Thanks for sharing this great video! Happiness radiates out of it. I tried SUPing this past summer during an LL Bean Discovery course - 2 hours, and I was hooked. Just bought my own board - an Atoll 11'. My GSD and I will be living on the water next summer. P.S.: don't let age put you off this amazing sport - I'm 68.

MITCH! you and girl are amazing to watch on these video's ....I have a love for water really bad however in my life I've never just been able to be with water if that makes sense, so when I watch these video's ya'll make, it puts my soul at ease, I feel like I am there with ya'll. Really enjoyed the video. You have got some amazing balance. Especially to be able to jump onto the board. I am just really learning and I have seen people using the paddle with the face facing both ways. Everyone seems to have an opinion as to which is the correct way to face the paddle. Can you tell me which is correct? Or where I could get some more instruction? Thanks again.

Thanks again for the inspiration. I live in a place called Birmingham in the UK, as land locked as you can get and seriously cold. However I've just found a place near to me that does lessons and hires all the stuff. Can't see me sticking on my board shorts, more like a 7mm wetsuit!!! I used to live in Australia (Bondi area) and used to surf most days but as I don't live near the beach that's surfing out the question. Too old to skate any more so hopefully this should get me back on a board of sorts and hopefully get my beach bod back to some degree!! They also sell off their gear every now and then which would be a great way to get some basic gear at a fraction of the cost. Take it easy fella.
