As Ugandans, we are not that keen on having a pipeline to ship out our oil. Contrary, majority of us favor establishment of a refinery to refine our oil and we ship out diesel, gas, benzene, fertilizer, pharmaceutical products and PET products to Africa and the rest of the world. So if the world feels we shouldn’t export our crude, so be it. But I can guarantee you that we are getting that oil out of the ground. The discussion now is on whether we shall export crude oil or oil products. But generally, your analysis is biased and very anti-development for Uganda which I find quite repulsive.
