Nice deck but I have a few questions: 1) Illuminal is the main ride focus or is he the finisher ride? I ask because you cannot always find another unit especially since Illuminal Dragon is a good rear guard? 2) how do you deal with your resources for counterblast and soulblast? I am guessing that Shout is for the soul as well as for cards in hand but you do not spam him as well as your counterblast units right? And did you consider countercharging units like Boomerang and Claydoll? 3) shouldn’t the triggers have at least 5 or 6 draw since you are running Drill the dual? Or is he there for the final attack? 4) What accel marker are you mostly aiming for 1 or 2?
- Both G3 are fine ride targets - Resources are quite manageble seen as the distribution of them makes it not all that taxing on one or the other - Drill is more for a final turn scenario you won't use him every games and you won't really use him more then 1 (ofcourse this can changer depending on the player) - For this particular build Accel 2 is great because most units will hit high high numbers anyways
My brother and I dont have Azure Dragon so we decided to use Battledore. We also will use the same Grade 2 and 1 line up as you except we using 3 Beast Deity bird and 2 shout to run 2 of the new grade 1 PG as we only have 2 draw PG. This way we can also plau a little mind game on our opponent as they wonder how many of each we are running on our deck and throw them off a bit. Also the battle dore is there for mind game aspect since we dont have Azure Dragon but since we have the grade 1 this will make them guard more. I do think we might add 2 Incise Rizer and play 2 Battledore. We still are thinking of a grade 3 Back up for Illuminal Dragon. We decided on Incise and Battledore
I would maybe suggest running Glad Grad as your back up in place of Azure. He takes a bit more commitment to use, but he can give you similar results to Azure Dragon in the right circumstances (minus the on place card draw).
I don't use Shout in my deck, what i use is 4 raizer custom 4 grantz and 4 scarlet. This allows for the combo of grantz and raizer combo for a column restand. I find that it's more useful as it has a total of 16k power rather than 13k grantz on a accel 2. Then my G2 lineup is 4 Kick Kick, 4 Stylish, 3 Brutal Jack and 2 Iron Killer for a constant 14k base attacker
You GOTTA play black tortoise. Not only is it the best card to use with Azure Dragon's on ride, but it has so much synergy with the rest of your cards it's insane
@@sebreezethelegion8793 I do play Black Tortoise from time to time but it's sort of a one trick phoney and is really good late game. And on Accel 2 once your opponent his a def trig tortoise can't attack anymore
I noticed that since the July support every Nova Grappler players dropped Black Turtoise completely. I my book Black Turtoise seems good, in combo with Azure Dragn, but maybe there's something I don't see with this card that explains why it's not played anymore. Can someone here explain to me why? Is it only because it doesn't power up?
I like him too, I consider Black Turtoise more of a budget option now since Kick Kick Typhoon does the restanding ability along with the power boost, which more power means better chance to hit.
In your first example with kick kick, brutal jack, and 2 illuminals, in order for Jack to stand from Kick, wouldn't the Illuminal on RG have to have a unit behind it? I thought kick kick's ability required all front rows to have a rear guard.
No. For Kick Kick to work, you only need the front row filled. For example, if you did a g2 rush turn, you'd need all 3 front row spots fill (VC and 2 RC). And if you ride to g3 and aquire an Accel gift, you need to fill 4 front row spots. You may have misinterpreted the skill.
this deck in this video is outdated. need to updates a new one. a lot of card I replace with better version without paying the cost in order to get something. edited: by the way lol. can't stop laughing. I just make a perfect combo when dealing with Gran Blue Deck. because Gran Blue forcus put too many card from deck to drop zone. I just used 2 Screamin' and Dancin' Announcer, Shout and 3 Beast Deity, Scarlet Bird to keep draining the opponent deck. he only have about 8 cards left in his deck and 11 cards in hand. I thought I might lose but I just make him lose by default. lol.
