Standardizing Occupational Therapy practices in assessing medically at-risk drivers 

On July 1, 2018, amendments were made to the act that directly impacted occupational therapy practice. The legislation outlines Occupational Therapist requirements for medical reporting for people who have conditions or impairments that may impact their driving ability. St. Michael’s OT Driving Working Group built a systematic approach to assess and report medically at-risk drivers.
