This "right to march". To put it into perspective for a moment. I'm 57, and in my youth, I attended one protest march. The fact they can get so many to march for Palestine.....tells me already that we are dealing with extremism. They have been ranting for weeks! So, they are extreme in their views AND determined. They have been taken to London on buses and coaches and told what to do and say. So... they are organised. They do NOT represent the majority opinion in this country since most couldn't point out Israel or Gaza on a map. The dog that barks the loudest is what we are dealing with. So, to recap, they have extreme views, and they are organised and determined. This is not protest. These are disruptive, intimidating, soft riots, where the left wing, organised minority is seeking to appear dominant, mainstream, and powerful. They are none of that, and don't you forget it.

Yesterday, after visiting my son, I was returning from London King's Cross to Grantham on the 16.33 train. As I was boarding, the driver was mid-way through an announcement, well more of a rant over the PA. He said that no one who supported Tommy Robinson or was a member of the 'far right' (whatever that means; disagreeing with ULEZ perhaps?) was welcome on his train and would be "kicked off". I find this shocking because he was essentially discriminating against passengers he believes hold certain political beliefs which should be of no concern to a transport operator as long as those passengers behave themselves. He didn't mention the far-left so presumably they are welcome on his train.
I'm wondering if this LNER conductor also carries out a political allegiance questionnaire on passengers while he checks their tickets, and throws them out of the window if they don't prove themselves to be Marxists. Remember that the unions are firmly in bed with the Mohammadeens.

I was there right in the middle of the crowd. There was a scuffle when the police tried to stop one crowd entering Whitehall but the "crowd " had done nothing wrong . What was apparent though was the hatred shown towards the police . They were viewed as enemies -and I can understand why .
As an American I have little right to say much but I do honor Armistice Day. One hundred five years after the end of the Great War. My great grandfather was in the AEF as a cook, an eighth generation English American.

I find myself very dispirited. I agree with Peter when he says that it is important for us to celebrate Armistice day. I work in a major supermarket, and we always observe the 2 minutes silence, however the rudeness and ignorance of many customers (sadly increasing over the years) who carried on talking and shopping during this time absolutely staggers me. So sad.😔
So glad to see all the people gathering to remember those who gave their lives for the country. Simultaneously I hope that recent events have given the Brits a renewed spirit to start defending and regaining effectively what has been lost.

I have just returned from my Home Town Memorial service. It was cold and wet. Many turned up to show their respects also. Just local people getting together standing in silence was very powerful.
What I've been saying this myself is that it's crazy I'm actually left of centre. But because I'm willing to stand up for British values and protect our history, I'm now labelled far right.
I observed the 2 minute silence at the Manchester Cenotaph, and have just returned from the Remembrance Sunday mass at my local memorial garden. There was hundreds of people, young and old, despite the rain.
As the veteran said, the pro-palestine march could have been postponed. By not doing so they made their point. This is the essence of multiculturalism not the appreciation of each others cuisine.

I stand up for all the heroes who fought in the World Wars. This is a special day. My father was the first Indian officer to get the Victoria Cross in Africa in WW2. So in his memory I salute those who fought .
In our synagogue we had a minute silence to honour those who died to fight the forces of evil. In fact every week we recite a prayer for the Queen, now the King, armed forces and government. We even have a plaque on the wall with the prayer.
Great to stand up for heroes of the two world wars. When the third one breaks out, it looks like Britain will be in very short supply of heroes and patriots to defend Britain. That's the sad reality we face.

I just got back from our local town remembrance service and it was lovely to see a huge turnout filling the marketplace and lining the street around the town hall garden. Not what you would call a diverse crowd though, if you know what I mean, which I find interesting as there are plenty of none white people in this town in recent years.
