@@grape_nation Luigi isn't bad. Actually, Top players are starting to see many Luigi players and are considering that he may be better than people are giving him credit for. He just has a shitty and exploitable recovery. If Luigi is bad then Elegant, Navy, Neemo, etc. Wouldn't be posing a challenge because he wouldn't have the tools to be utilized properly.

How is Elegant even remotely an underrated Luigi player? He is regarded as the best Luigi player in the US. Navy and Neemo are underrated.

Cut them some slack. I think they were both in shock after that first match.

You can also tack on some damage first instead. One fireball puts Snake in range for the 0-death combo, even if the Luigi has no rage.

There’s an alternate version of the combo that works on heavies

That's because most people aren't that good with Snake. Watch MVD or Ally play him and it's an entirely different thing.
