For all the comments saying “eLeGaNT uSeS CyClOnE tOo MuCh:” Luigi main here: Nair comes out frame 3, while Cyclone comes out frame 2. It’s Luigi’s fastest combo breaker. Meaning it’s the best option in a lot of cases. So, unfortunately it’s necessary if you main Luigi. Also, Elegant used it more this set because it was pre-patch, where Super Cyclone was still a thing. (Making Cyclone invincible for EVERY frame of the move). So, some of it was just Elegant playing with his broken move. LOLLL

Nick Long Down-B still has invincibility on the first eight frames of the move so it’s still a viable combo breaker.

Late comment here, but did people forget that this was the move Elegant was known for mashing back in Smash 4? Made Luigi incredibly good at recovery mixups and near impossible to recover against since Cyclone would gimp you every. single. time.

Elegant's Luigi in ultimate has evolved a lot, his down throw or landing nair combos can lead to so many different chains it's hard to escape He has options for every DI

Cyclone is the best combo breaker move luigi have. It is almost guaranteed to break a combo and honestly if I have to get out of a combo I would rather spam cyclone then trying to time another attack perfectly because that what sets u up to lose.
