Stanier 8F climbs to Apesford Crossing nr. Leek, Staffs 

On 19th October 2010 Stanier 8F 8624 heads up the 1 in 45/1 in 59 to Apesford crossing with a three coach special train banked by Class 33 diesel. It was organised for the benefit of the press in the run-up to the MCR/CVR Steam Gala (which includes the resurrected Leekbrook to Cauldon Low branch) on 13th/14th November. The weather on the day was very windy and wet so apologies for the 'noisy' soundtrack.
