I skipped right past his post game interview. Not even remotely interested in his excuses. He should call out for game three if he ain't suspended. If the Oilers think they're the dirtier team if that's how it gets played, they're in for a galaxy of misery come Thursday night, and Draisaitl will be target #1. I don't condone it, but I don't get to control or coach the team. Oilers declared war this game, I don't think they have any notion as to what kind of absolute violence the Panthers can return fire with.

That Barkov hit was an assassination attempt by dreiseitl with clear intent to injure. It was charging. He left his feet and threw a flying elbow into his face! That's a concussion all day long, I'll be very surprised if it isn't. I hope it isn't... It was a dirty and malicious non-hockey play. Two minute minor my arse! Not only should that have been an immediate ejection, but it should be a suspension! Game 3 minimally. 4-1 cats victory (deservedly). Now take two in Edmonton, don't look for revenge, just play your game and show them what Karma looks like!

@@tedcity5861 Right (in regards to ejection). It would take 15 minutes minimally to definitively determine a concussion, but there could be fractures or a dislocation. Whereas a suspension would be game 3 at least. Time will tell. Sasha's the Larry Bird of our team. The beating heart of our team. Larry breaks his face in a game, comes back and dominates the 2nd half. Whatever the injury, Barkov will be on the ice if he has the choice available to him. (fingers crossed).

It's a five man team...but yeah the Oil lacks depth scoring when they really need it. Hyman, RNH, and Bouchard are contributing, but after those three + the two headed monster of #97 & 29, there are seldom signs of life. Too many passengers and Nurse may well have the worst contract in the NHL. 3pts and -15 in 20 games for $9.5m? Wow that guy is grossly overpaid.
