It is a must go to if you are in Toronto. Dedicate an entire day there, it is worth it. I'm a huge fan of the Clear Cut Series. Beautiful cards with hard signed autos, what's not to like? Like you Josh I love the red and blue canvas autos, especially the rookies. I also love the rookie debut auto /10. I was fortunate enough to get the Cale Makar Rookie red ink jersey number 8/8, UD nailed it with the picture of Makar in the alt uniform. Sadly he doesn't have a rookie auto debut auto /10, not sure why Upper Deck didn't make one for him. Regarding Clear Cut being a risky product it's no more risky then buying Ultimate, Premier even worse Black Diamond and only getting only 1 auto (sticker auto with Black Diamond) along with 3 or 4 other worthless cards at double to triple the cost. You can get could get roughly 3 boxes of Clear Cut for the same cost and get 3 hard signed autos. So if the Clear Cut boxes are duds at least you have 3 hard signed autos vs 1. A Mcdavid Emerald Surge Auto was listed on ebay forever for $25k and it finally sold last week (allegedly). I can't see at the moment what it actually sold for and not showing up on 130point so maybe it was just taken down. Im thinking the McDavid non auto Emerald Surge goes for 10k at most.

I opened a case of Extended and really enjoyed it. I got 2 exclusives, 3 deluxe and 4 clearcut so it seems to me that the print run must be down from S1/2. I like most of the inserts and didn't get many dupes. I got 5 numbered inserts but no particularly exciting players. My best hit was an Outburst Fantilli YG. I agree the price is high but the fun was high too, so I'm not upset. Oh, and I got about 7 different Bedards (but nothing SUPER rare other than maybe the Black Diamond.) I definitely prefer this over S1/2.
In the last episode stickers autos were discussed. I completely agree, sticker autos are trash. The player either signed the card OR the sticker but he didn't do both. Also, for less than $200 you can have the Center Ice package and see almost every NHL game and could see McDavid play all the time.
@@hockeycardsgongshow I agree, the NHL does do a terrible job marketing their best player in McDavid. I don't understand why the NHL hates to market any player on a Canadian team. If McDavid played for a team in the States he would be a household name like Cindy is.
