When the game first came out my brother showed me the demo and I just stood there pressing the "eight" button for a solid ten minutes. I was entranced. I do not know why, but something about the specific cadence with which the button says "eight" was incredible to me. That, and I really wanted to see how many reactions the narrator had... Not as many as I'd hoped, but oh well
Out of context moments are made to be funny. The Serious Room is not funny, it is serious. The most serious room with the most serious table imaginable.
Thanks, I thought it'd go together well, but probably makes even less sense to people who haven't played the game because they don't know that it's different clips
@@loppie_445No, everything in the broom closet, the "that person is not real" bit, the room deteriorating, the "I love you", the baby game and the Portal part are all from the original base game.
1:04 “Wait wait wait wait its- this is all wrong. This isnt the stanley parable! 8️⃣this is a game where you press a 8️⃣button and it says eight” I died
it's a part of an ending where stanley and the narrator visit random games, in the first one being minecraft and portal, and firewatch and rocket league for the ultra deluxe
Finally a true out of context video which uses scenes that look random or awful without context but funny for those who knew instead of just random scenes scrambled together out of order. Great job finding them and editing.
I've literally played most of this game myself, and watched RTgame play it, but it only seems to make less sense every time I see it. I love it, the end is truly never the end
0:55 im laughing so hard rn Edit: im dying at the fact that it not only flashbangs you. a piece of text appears saying “i love you.” Edit 2: it was a perfect transition and it took until i scrolled down to a reply saying it was a perfect transition
Everytime I watch a Stanley Parable video I see something else that I still haven't seen in this game and I literally have been playing the last year and a half God I love this game
I cheated the achievement by changing the time on my switch, mostly for science to see if the game would know or if I'd get anything unique for it, sadly, I didn't get anything interesting, but it did work (feel a wee bit guilty tho 😅)
Perfect Btw to any1 not familiar with this game or has only played "The Stanley Parable", this game has three different versions: -The Stanley Parable Demo -The Stanley Parable -The Stanley Parable: Ultra Duluxe All three are the same thing but different experiences (all have different endings and stories etc.) and they are fucking hilarious... I recommend either playing all 3 (or if you don't want to spend the money) watching a series on it that is complete. (I recommend Markiplier and Jacksepticeye). Sadly, when Ultra Duluxe came out the price of the "original" went from $3 to I think around 15 bucks. If you are going to play it, buying the duluxe is sufficient because I think you still get access to the demo and the first game is kind of included in duluxe but getting both duluxe and the original gives the full experience of Stanley and The Narrator's escapades in all their glory 😂😂😂
Here.. is where there is nothing. In the full version of the game, there are many more places where there is nothing. If you like the experience of a finite amount of content, then The Stanley Parable may be just the game for you.
This is the pinnacle of post-modern game design. I approve. Yes, I was just itching to find an excuse to use the word post-modern. Your problem if you don't like. It is my gahdarn right!
Kinda, it's in the games ending of the original Stanley Parable, alongside Minecraft, but in the Ultra Deluxe version, the games were changed to Firewatch and Rocket League
