The wet pickup should have been done with only the foam not with blue dry filter also attached

Exactly what I was coming to say. I did the exact same thing not knowing. When I went to purchase more blue dry filters, this is when I learned. Ive had one of these Stanley shop vac's for a few years, but its smaller (still a 4.0/4.0) and I lost my paperwork and box and extra goodies.

I plan to use this appliance to clean where there is lots of construction dust "leaking" in a home remodel. Area of home outside of remodel area hit with dust even when construction area is cordoned off with plastic - wet/dry is needed bc wetting the dust with water prevents sawdust etc. from flying around and can then vacuum more effectively without kicking more dust into the air. Thanks for the video!

That brown bag sir is for when u want to vaccum out your car or whatever.. it goes in the inside of the vaccum and attach to the black nozzle inside

How about reading the instructions before you do a review. For wet pickup use only the foam filter. For dry use only the blue filter bag.

I've just unboxed mine. First off there is no clamp for the blue filter to hold it on. So I guess I need to send it back. The rest was easy to put together and took me a few minutes. The castors aren't the same though it is still the same stainless steel model. I;m in Canada so maybe that is why. I got from the instructions that you should take off the blue filter if you vacuum something wet.

psa a, if ur vac has a wet filter, then put it on and remove any bag u might have put in the inside, so it wont get rip and melt.

Does the foam filter go on first? then the blue filter with the ring? The blue filter bag keeps coming loose.

the blue filter is for sucking dry stuff only. The black foam is for wet stuff. You cant and do not put both on. The blue dry filter is clamped on by a ring.
