This video is about stanliner tools and their application. Special request from Kevin.
These tools are very different and challenge the way you look at dent repair. These are not beginners tools. But a great weapon in the arsenal if the finances allow for it. I currently own the majority of the tools Stanliner has produced, no regrets. This company cares about its customer base, but does lack in the tutorial department. Allow me to change that.

Jim great work I have the bigger version I got it 2 yrs ago . Love it . I may get the smaller one. I agree stanliner are the best tools. Kaz is a genius to PDR

But as you noted, it helps the skill level of the user. It’s not a substitute. So in your case wham, 60 sec crease removal.

Hahaha I bend mine. But it takes a torch and some muscle. I wouldn’t recommend doing it a lot because Stanliner uses some seriously hard steel. The harder the steel the more brittle it becomes. But it’s only a tool, make it work for you.

I’m in a heated shop so with something like this it isn’t necessary. Goodnrule of thumb is. If you’re questioning whether or not to heat the panel. Do it. So many times in my early years just as I’d be questioning the need for heat when working a panel, is crack the paint. Something was telling me to heat it. But I didn’t listen until it was too late

For sure. What I’ll do is really study them for awhile. I’ll take anything like them off of my cart and only use them for awhile. Generally I don’t want to switch back. Only one tool set I haven’t been over the moon happy with so far.
