STANTON 680 STEREO STANDARD SERIES
1976/1979
The 680 models consisted of a 681 non-calibrated cartridge body with a heavy-duty, more durable stylus assembly. Although the series was targeted to the professional Broadcast/DJ/Studio market where daily use required durable components, the “Broadcast Standard” and “Professional Standard” names were already used for the 600 and 500 models. So, the 680 models were given a non-descript label of “Stereo Standard”.
