This is taken from a Betamax video that has been unseen for 39 years.
It is from David Bowie's last performance in Australia for the Serious Moonlight tour and is from the 20th of November 1983 at the Sydney Showgrounds. It was from a feed used for the large sight screens on the side of the stage.
The sound is mono unfortunately, but restored as much as possible.

For Sure, SRV was not really going to be able to play the parts on The Starman's incredible 70s albums. Wheras Slick first played live for David in the mid 70s and knows the guitar pieces for most of those.
