The Rachel Papers is one of my favorite films of the 80's----I saw it multiple times in the theater! I was lucky to be in a college town where movies like that played in multiplexes.
Aahh man the eighties ! Great decade , full of fun, creativity, and so much promise ( in life and relationships ), then boom ! So sad. To the lost eighties children.
There will never be a decade like 80s ❤. It was a magical time for music tv movies travell n falling in love to the girl of your dreams. Dexter Fletcher saw him acting only in Ghosted n Band of Brothers 😂. Hello from India 🇮🇳...
As a 90's kid a grew up listening to tons of era music and Indie is no doubt the standard bearer of rock n roll music. As they bring backs any sounds not only good for the ears but for the soul aswell. May it be psychedelic, hard rock and chill sounds.
Ione Skye, she reminds me of Sylvia Kristel (Emmanuelle).....Scottish folk singer Donovan is her dad. As a result, both her first and current husbands have connections to the music industry. Dexter Fletcher, a former child actor and renowned director, is 5-5. But in the movie, it doesn't look small at all.
@@Cycology_Major Yeah, I need to watch this one. I've never seen Ione Skye is anything but "Say Anything", though I guess I must have seen her in "Wayne's World". She should have been a much bigger actress.
This is one of those movies that felt like somebody's very personal manifesto about life. Like they didn't care what people thought; they just made their own movie. I don't know if it's true, but that's what it feels like.
I was born in 87. I’ve been with the same woman for half my life. She described me as “girl crazy” when we met. As I’ve gotten older, my eyes don’t wander, personality is more attractive, etc. That being said there’s something about the women of the 80s. There was a point where Victoria’s Secret was a thing. Then we caught on saying that most women don’t look like that and is it even really that attractive? There is a natural beauty to the women of the 80s I can’t help but notice. I can’t describe it. They’re more dreamy.
First Dex thing I thought of was band of brothers for some reason. Never knew this movie existed though I was in high school at the time. But Ione is a classic!
