Star Citizen Ship Showcase - I Still Love The Banu Defender 

It is really a unique and underrated ship. It's smaller than most people think it is - it's pretty much on par with Gladius - yet it has 2 beds, has interior component access, fits a pulse inside, has a massive Quantum fuel capacity, has S2 shield, and has S3 x 4 like all other light fighters. It isn't the best in PVP, but still viable in PVE and makes a great daily driver.

The MIS is my baby. Missiles for days. And if we end up being able to reload from the interior it's basically an endless missile boat. Endless. I'll take it over the cutty black any day. I started with the base freelancer back in '14 and its been my favorite line of ships ever since. I may get a DUR for Pyro.

The Defender is a pretty ship. You can also run drop offs with it or transport an X1 Force for fun. I just got the Platinum paint for my loaner. As for the Freelancer, I did consider the Max against the Harbinger when I was trying to get a loot runner ship (fast in and out, storage for a lot of looted gear, vehicle carrier was a plus), ultimately dropped both for the Corsair which can hold the medivac and MPUV Tractor at the same time (using dual 8 stor-alls for a 16 scu loot collector, but atm containers and some storage bugs out making it useless) and take only a little longer to run from ground to cockpit seat if you need to get on the offensive or evasive from ground. Being Alien week, I'm a little disappointed the the Defender hasn't yet received a WB, no new ship drops for the event either so.. I suppose we have til it's end date which was the 20th being the final day? Great video as always, also a Sabre Comet fan

Nice! Honestly if i hadn’t just got me the C1 i would pick up an alien week ship. But the defender looks real cool. Was surprised to hear you say it’s the banu sabre essentially. In regards to the freelancer, i only like the Mis personally. Otherwise they’re meh but maybe i’ll get one in game and try it out

I like the MIS. Daily driver. I like the look. Industrial and trucker vibes, with a shade military. Like the C-130 Hercules. It was never going to win a beauty contest. I think they nailed it. The rate of fire on the missiles is kind of disappointing, but I love trucking in it anyway.

Defender is a cool ship, I've flown it for quite a bit back in 3.18, but prices on these alien ships both in game and in the store are insane

I like the *idea* of the Dur, but I would never buy it because I hate the Freelancer frame almost as much as I hate the Cutlass frame. You're right to call it a flying turd.

I like the Freelancers, except the MAX :P It's alright for transport, but the engines are massive and fall off really fast, making it real bad at combat. The MIS is quite awesome though, 20 S3 missiles and 32 S1/16 S2's can do a lot of damage on top of the usual 4x S3 guns.

Try the new size 3 singe cannons. They do crazy damage but hard to hit

I'd mess with the freelancer if it didn't have that tiny mailslot view from the cockpit.

This is the best ship , my flying home ! but the sound design get nerf and i hope it will be back like in the past

the FL-Series cannons are at the very bottom of the Cannon's food chain, for real, swap them for a couple of Quarreleer Cannons.
