I still play Elite, VR only and it's still one of the best VR games out there, on foot was disappointing but the ship mechanics and combat are top notch.
Someone told me to consider an upgrade between a new ship at 350 bucks or some good sticks at the same price. The benefit of some awesome flight sticks is the hands down option. Get some good flight sticks to fly with first.
I love my Taurus. The Connie view is one of the best, and has a fantastic HUD layout. I can't wait till she gets brought up to gold standard, and we get weapons racks and such.
My friend, there are channels out there that post ALL of their gaming content. Are they better known for one game versus another? Sure, but they are still going strong. Your brand has always been gaming, not ONE GAME. Stay the course. Additional channels require additional time and resources. Focus on content not channel juggling.
I found out that when I posted non SC stuff, it destroyed the algo of the channel, I think if you do variety stuff you grow it from the start, I ended up creating Noobs Gaming Xtra @noobsgamingxtra for the variety stuff, that way I could grow that channel based from variety stuff I love playing alongside, the growth of the main channel was done and the viewer base was already cemented before you can realize it. only a select few from our main channel was interested in the variety stuff, and because of that the lack of views and engagement made you tube think the content was naff and so didn't push it out. The second channel is best and you also know how to grow a channel much more easier this time, you have lived the pain of what makes good title and thumbs, I now have I think 5 channels with all different things on, my latest being a lifestyle type one where I blog my life with my little lad and cooking dinner for him, I Have created a few vids and editing them before I let it out live, but that stuff could not be put on the noobs main channel. I have fallen in love with the whole you tube thing and creating content in everyday life, in the studio where I create music, in the Kitching making dinner, Music mixing tips, and the 2 game channels, I have a channel for what I am doing, and they cant be mixed because the lack of views will make it think its rubbish... Another option is, create the Casual Gaming one but still upload the SC video to it even if you are uploading it to the main channel, this way your base may still move over to the new channel and in time may become the main channel that people follow. if it is a casual variety then why not add the SC stuff to it and the main SC channel... I hope all works out in the end, it can be a daunting task
If you’re not in it for the money, then do whichever one is easier for you. Make it easy for yourself. It’s not supposed to be a job. It’s supposed to be fun.
My thinking: Go with 2nd option and use this channel to stream Star Citizen once a week then use that footage to do your ship spotlight videos also once a week. The second channel should reduce confusion with your subscribers but grow yourself in the algorithm for views by diversifying, Best of Luck!
I'm here for the SC stuff mostly. The other games have not interested me so far. With that said, I'm fine either way, second channel or or not, but if you want a community, I think it may be better to have the 2nd channel.
Why not keep the one channel, maintain that identity and separate the various content into distinct playlists? Several RU-vidrs have gone that route. Squirrel comes to mind. Just taking the contrarian viewpoint here. Seems like one channel would be simpler in terms of total management. Edit: upon further review, I realize that you have SC or others also divided into multiple playlists due to maybe series within the game. So… hmm, that might present a challenge to the one channel. 😕
My 2Cents - Take the second channel option and leave this one for SC. SC players are your bread 'n butter, some of whom you may lose otherwise. I know you are not in it for subscription counts, but I'd hate to lose you - your SC vids are some of my favs, and I'm sure I'm not alone with that.
Simply do you, people are fickle and will ebb and flow with you or the content. Do what you enjoy and build that way, do not try and force yourself to do what others want. I have a good friend who gave up just this with a massive following, because he was tired of doing for others and not for him. Do it for you first and let your channel grow with you, not dictate what you have to do. If you do it for the people, and with a channel your size, you will start hating more than just the games you play. (I am saying this as someone who has backed SC since 2014) I only talk on a few peoples stuff, because my work is stupid cool and I just play games and watch people when they spark interest. Do you and do the channel how you want, you are never big enough to not do what you enjoy... If you don't enjoy the work, it is no longer worth it. AND when I say my friend had a massive following (I am talking 1.3mil) and he has so much fun doing what he does now, with zero stress that came with growing a gaming content channel. He told me he did everything for the viewers and really started hating the games he was known for, and now he just lives on a boat. (he does not even do a boating channel, he just wanted to live on a boat). Let me know if you need anything, you are doing well, you doing this channel does not need SC to be successful.
It doesn't help that star citizen hasn't innovated worth a fk in it's missions or grind in all these years. Every update same old shit. Don't blame you at all for playing other games, most of us in chairman's club don't get past spectrum anymore.
Thanks for the fun ONS! I'll join the new channel as well. Yes, start a new channel. Do you like music? Review other things? Other hobbies? Sky is the limit! Best of luck buddy!
I say do whatever is simplest for you. My cousin is like you. He's a gamer. He plays SC with me some times, but he loves to play many other games as well. Whereas, I am just mostly a sim guy. SC and MSFS for me. Maybe one day I'll do some DCS. But that's it for me. I've watched you play other games before. It's just about how much free time I have available and I haven't had much time for gaming or watching gaming lately. Life. But, we know you're a gamer like my cousin, not a simmer, like me. At the end of the day, you gotta enjoy what you're doing. So do that in a way that doesn't complicate your life more than it needs to. I check in on your channel frequently and if there's something I want to watch, I watch. It's cool either way. Just make sure you're having fun and everything will be alright.
Definitely feeling bored of the game as well. And it’s not because of the content. It’s more because of every time I hop on and nothing working. I tried hopping into the EPTU today to try the new storage and hangar stuff, The storage stuff barely works. I keep getting kicked out of the terminals and all my items that I queued up were sent back into storage. On top of this, there’s a bunch of bugs returning from 3.23 PTU. It’s like they stopped working on the cargo feature in the middle of 3.23 when they announced it wasn’t gonna make it in. And are just now picking up where development stopped. And I could never get to the hangar because the servers kept crashing.
I like the second channel idea. It allows you to keep this channel as a SC channel but then have the other channel where you can have fun and try different things.
I fly a DUR, not terribly good right now but when it gets it's HYD refinery it should be able to go on nearly forever, making it imo one of the better solo explorer out there.
If your computer doesn't say "Missiles locked", don't bother shooting them, they won't hit anything. I don't know if it's a bug or purposedly that way, but even when you lock a ship, no voice means no lock.
o7 ! I can you help here ...i have this Ship but i dont get how you put two size 2 in nose torrent , I can only put 2 Size 1 !?? and where to get the top torrent i try to check bin erkul but im a bit lost with all this loud out it says the top torrent is a 2 gun size 2😮😢 ! thanks 👍 im really overwhelmed with this Ship loud out 🤯🤯
horror story can be told about engineer grind and manufactured materials (both horizon and odyssey), i can accept that. anything else is just exaggeration. what is your desire to do in this game its what will define your experience a lot. exploration, trade, mining, piracy, mercenary, on foot ops, anti xeno, power play, any combination of those or as me all combined on day to day mood. last few months anti xeno operations are the 99% of majority of players daily activity. payouts are unfortunately decreased, but still most fun way to obtain large amounts of credits in combination with power play (boring task, huge gain). so to get to the carrier ownership, honestly you will need week of spire sites, depending of time spent playing and number of people involved. before latest nerf, you could obtain your own carrier in a single day on spire site, now it will take you a bit more and power play to double it. again, that is the best and fastest fun way to do so. good luck commander, fly dangerously o7
The fact you left 55 BT 5.45 like it was nothing when you cant buy it on the flea and you dont unlock it until level 4 prapor just blew my mind. Youre the perfect example of why someone would want to play pve over pvp.
I like the *idea* of the Dur, but I would never buy it because I hate the Freelancer frame almost as much as I hate the Cutlass frame. You're right to call it a flying turd.
