I am especially glad they're introducing the ability to mix armor with clothing tbh - that's one of the things I wished I was able to do from the first time I visited the PU

I like the classes and limitations of doing certain things or doing them well. It looks kinda ridiculous to be in heavy armor with a backpack and weapons on while in the pilot seat of a fighter for example 😅

I like the armor having specific bonuses. It’s realistic and immersive. I’d like to also see some social bonuses to clothes or have area have specific dress codes in the future. Especially tied to missions. Maybe you need a tux to get into a swanky club or Galla. Maybe using some janitor clothing you could get into a staff restricted area. Maybe you get a bonus when trying to RP with an NPC if you have the right cloths…etc

I hope they add functional suit lockers so we can quick change without scrolling through all the inventory

I was surprised they are going to allow heavy suits to still sit in pilot seats, though at least there is some penalty in doing so.

I am looking forward to hunting, probably smaller things than the mega worm mostly. The idea going to a planet and finding the right biome and then tracking down some space game is interesting. Also, do hope they can add in space fishing. Could be fishing for tanks, food, or maybe a space kraken boss.

The armor and clothing specializations is a great way for players to be incentivized to find and use certain sets and gives purpose for armor storage and differentiating player styles. I will be very excited to see this when it is implemented.

I guess the sand worms seemingly having a lot of different variants for different environments points to CIG likely reducing the number of alien fauna they plan to add. I wonder how they're going to explain how they made it to so many different star systems, as smuggling eggs and stuff would be the obvious thing to point to but the time frames involved in evolution would be far too long for Humans to have any involvement.

The armor for tasks sounds really fun especially with the ability to mix in some clothing. Monster hunts sound fun as well but I feel like battling something like that is going to attract some additional attention...

I kinda like the idea of soft classes determined by armor, but that tracker class... CIG must be taking the piss with a tracker being heavy armor.

I love how they can cater to all types of play, hope to see some non combat industrial options too tho

Sad we only got to see the combat and flight focused armors, but hoping we get more information on the industry focused armors like salvaging and engineering!

Those changes to armor actually DO make sense, but what about mixing single parts? For example, could you maximize armor rating AND scanning ability by just swapping the helmet?

i really enjoy the random tobii eye tracker ad telling us how to get it for all these other people who CLEARLY need a tobii eye tracker, that we could borrow....from time to time. also im curious what the limit on weapons against the worm, or other fauna for harvesting, like could we use torpedoes, or capitol size weapons? what will the limit be?

I like that they're making the clothing armoured, it makes the bounty hunter role, which I want to do most, more role playable... If that's even a term...

Im looking forward to the changes to armor and clothing, especially when suit lockers work. Id like to have a few suits saved in my Zeus for different uses. Like a pilot one, a combat one, and an industrial one

The Armors look really good. looking forward to mixing clothes and armors to look good in game. they said we could craft basically anything, so we can craft some really cool looking stuff.

I just hope that if you have the full sniper set you wont be visible if you have a crime stat or that kills the stealth.

i like the idea of being able to mix and match armors for your choice of aesthetics and function. i just hope they do it right and don't lock people into having to pick one set of armor for certain jobs. i don't want meta armors, essentially. i know people will try to invent metas regardless, i just don't want CIG to make it easy for them.

Without using torpedoes I feel like the Polaris could make short work of the Valakar? Has plenty of standard armaments to take it down.

hunting sandworms in caves sounds like a scary proposition.

I prefer the sand worms being exclusive to Lier III, and having a different creature boss fight on Monox. Like a massive Roc (giant mythical bird) like creature. I’d prefer unique creatures for each system. Except seed creatures like space cow (I can’t ever remember how to spell its name).🇺🇦🇭🇹🇵🇸

I like that "classes" are based on equipment rather than character so they're dynamic. Being stuck in a class is my least favourite part of most MMOs.

I'm struggling to get out of the hangar without 30k or bugs. But I'm glad CIG is dreaming of worm fights and new ships.

Pretty sure CIG said you can fly with any armor, but there will be drawbacks for medium and heavy. Also hope worms are gatekept behind missions or some mechanic. Otherwise everyone in the server will be combing the same planet 24/7 and it will be nightmare.

Hoping CIG gives us a way to specialize armor for the "soft classes". Like, can I have my mix-matched outfit give benefits for both piloting and engineering, or somehow giving a set of medium armor some scanning buffs. They'll likely be putting together other sets that are equivalent to these shown off armor sets; an Origin driver outfit should easily replace Mirai's version, and heavy guards in Terra might have Tank armor, right?

I am excited for the new armor but it kinda makes it to where you can't play solo, and the sandworm is definitely gonna need to pretty stable servers to even attempt such a thing. Can barely even play 3.24.2 atm

I'm not sure how I feel about soft classes being called soft classes although I like the idea of diverse equipment types.

When I have a working sandworm and server, some portion of my faith will be restored.

We have to see how much of a difference the suits really will make ... i know that my lazy ass will keep the armor on most of the time unless it can be switched in one or two cicks.
