UPDATE: The Hull A can fit inside the Hercules but the Scorpius does not. Also It's not an easy thing to do, but you can technically get a 100i in the Star Lifter. It'll only go in through the back, and from there you have to angle the ship and then worm your way inside.
A buddy tried to fit a 100i in my m2. Eventually got it in but as soon as the hangar door closed I looked down at my ships health display and watched the mid section turn orange then red then.... well. Kaboom.
I've been able to fit three Ballistas into a M2 or C2. The trick is to park them on a bit of an angle. I've successfully landed them in a combat operation, so I know it's stable.
I was worried about griefers when I started playing but everyone has been mostly really helpful and thankfully peaceful. So good to be part of a civil community
Yeah. The Star Citizen community can be amazing. There’s griefing once in a while (usually towards the end of a patch cycle when the immature get bored) but we all try to help each other out for the most part.
Although we have a very mature and kind community overall, there are still people who only enjoy themselves when they hurt others, albeit ‘role playing’ or just venting frustration from their crappy job. You won’t meet them now, mostly, because they are also bored easily and playing a technical alpha is far beyond their cognitive capacities, so just be more careful, once the game goes beta officially. 😁
The Merlin carrier might become more important when life-support becomes a thing. The M2 has jump seats, and obviously must have enough to support a larger crew, and transport all the pilots for those light fighters.
Wonderful video! We at Odyssey Interstellar love the amazing editing work for the 8+ hrs of the spectacular event. It didn't even feel like 8 hrs because we all were enjoying the time we spend playing together and hanging out. We look forward to the Anvil Liberator video soon™

I would love to run a mining operation out of my Herc. Get a couple ROCs and either a Pisces or Argo cargo to collect mined material. I know it’s not that profitable but it could be fun!

Gladius and Sabre also fit if you give them a trim Last time i played you could take off all 4 weapons Trim a Sabre Then equip the weapons And boom a Sabre that shead its armor for weight reduction and and smaller profile Also lets 3 Sabres be a surprise escort when they fly out of a C2 I think 3 fit at a push otherwise 2
As the owner of a Herc C2 I am astounded at the work you put in for all of us owner/players. Thank you. I bought the C2 primarily as a vehicle mover as I own the Ballista, Tonk, Spartan, Ursa Rover, two Cyclones and various bikes. Vehicles are easier to figure out what I'm dealing with as many fit on other ships. For example: I have my Cyclone RN for my 400i along with the X-1 Pathfinder; my Ursa Rover and Pisces on my Carrack, and the Cyclone MT on my Cutty Black, etc. I also intend to tour the racing circuit so I have ships like my 85x, Argo Cargo and whichever racing ship or bike I decide to fit inside. I can't wait until we have the BMM to find out what it can carry both in the hanger and the cargo bays. The same goes for my MISC Endeavor with the hanger bay which was said to fit a Cutlass Red or two. These are my "ship shipping ships" that I opted for instead of the Starfarer, Liberator, Polaris, Idris, Kraken, Javelin or Bengal, the other "ship shipping ships."
This was dope! I worked at an airport for a while and part of the job was doing what we called "stacking a hangar", which is basically just what you did here--cramming as many planes in as confined a space as we could. It was like a big scary puzzle with very fragile, multi-million dollar puzzle pieces. You should do it some time, I feel like you'd be a natural, haha. Informative and interesting content as always!
It would have been cool if someone demonstrated carrier ops with some of the fighters. Just to see how it worked. Two Hercules in a convoy. One with cargo. One with fighters. Position Hercules flying in formation one turned upside down to cover the blind top side. Then suddenly launch fighters. How long would it take to unload all fighters. And once pirates are dealt with or a chance of escape occurs. How long to dock all fighters.

Also I heard you can get an Arrow in the front if you are in landing mode. Just a thought if you want to try it and have the time. You have convinced me to buy a C2 already, but it would be great to know if an arrow does fit up front without damaging it. That would be a great little defender if that fits. The arrow is squishy, but fast, nimble, and annoying, so it would take some heat off the C2. I just bought 2 ships (Prospector, C1 Spirt) yesterday including the C1 Spirt (which I will use to upgrade to the C2 later in the fall) so my wife will kill me if I buy a C2 at 400 bucks. But upgrading the C1 to a C2 will only by 275 during the next Invictus week. I really wanted to get an Avenger Warlock as well but once I got the Prospector and C1 Spirt I was simply out of funds at that point. I will safe up the 275 for the upgrade to the C2, you have convinced me that I simply can’t live without one, LOL. Again, thank you for your videos. Your new series of “Before you buy” gives us ALL the proper information we need to make an informed decision. I don’t know if you are actual law enforcement and that is the origin of your name, but either way, thank you for what you are doing from a Veteran that was Law Enforcement before cross training to Combat Arms. Man i can't wait for the liberator to be added. What will be pretty much my pocket carrier/home base of opperations in the future, i'd hope to just settle in some no traffic place in a star system and just putt all my ships there as some sort of mobile mid space org base with the liberator as a practical centerpiece, a cat for supplies/ storage space and a reclaimer for income/recource gathering.
Man I was screwing around with loading my C2 with different vehicles when I found out 3 is the max from my end, it didn't occur to me to bring others vehicles in and load em up. Awesome experiment bro.
God this event brings back memories. . . man i remember someone driving the Nova through the C2/M2 while it was loaded with dragonfly Grav bikes. . . that was a rather amusing series of events and not at all what was expected as the bikes won that argument man that was a riot and a half!!!🤣🤣🤣
An M2 manned by 4 and a swarm of 8 Merlins sounds like a nightmare for anything short of a matching fleet. I don't think any single playable ship could touch them.
The 100series does fit inside the Hercules, it's a bit of jiggling to get it in the door and out, plus it can only go in/out of the rear ramp, but it is possible
Well, just think of how good this will be once u can buy and sell ships and ground vehicles. Much like a car transport truck would deliver vehicles to the sale locations...
Haha. Imagine flying there in a C2, and get attacked, and all of a sudden 5 Pisces or 6 Razers come out to get the attacker!! LOL The Star Trek vibes would be awesome. The Merlin angry space bees would be so cool to see. 8 Krugers in 2-3 C2s would be insane to see !! 24 Krugers deploying to attack one target would just be insane. Some can even dock back in or hide behind the C2s to heal, as the C2s rotate shields!!! Omg.. Remember the Dragonflies can fly in space too !!
Now if on you could set up a ship to have a vehicle stored inside of it with like a secondary menu and place it where you want or atleast be able to spawn land vehicles inside of hangars while having a ship present. Like a secondary spawn point.
i dont understand how two auroras almost* fit side-by-side, but a single 100i does not fit? the only dimention that im aware of being larger is the width, at 10m vs the aurora's 8m. seems like there'd be plenty of room for a single 100i to fit (per row). how is it the 100i doesnt fit?
Is it able for the m2 to have more 85x's if one would fit them sideways but reversed to each other, like if the back of one is next to the front of the other?
That's good to know 😢 I don't think it'll fit in a caterpillar either. Hopefully docking works at some point. It would be nice to dock a vulture, head out and salvage into the bigger cargo hold. I do have a reclaimer but it seems like that's going to be broken until the servers get back to business
I tried, and you might be able to get it in if you have a lot of patents and are willing to try and wiggle it in. But you can't just fly straight into the hanger.
