I can't believe that ships in a new developing game like this, have more details and textures then ships in a game like EVE online, which is about 14 years old.
You didn't answer a very important question for newbies. Can these slots for shield, engine, energy, etc., be changed after the ship is constructed or can only be done before? If can only be done once, i. e., before constructing the ship, what if we want to modify it? What to do? Sell the ship and start all over? If so what happens to the materials used to construct it?
Very late, but the module slots can be reconfigured in the ship tree view. Right click your destroyer and you should have the Refit option in your drop-down. Compared to the cost of the rest of the vessel, refitting is cheap. 300k for the Invincible.
@@Hexfury Yeah I stopped playing the game at this point. It's a very interesting game for a while but then it's very repetitive. I lost interest. Thanks anyway. I don't remember now what I was even questioning but I think I figured it out later.
I've been playing this game for more than a year or maybe two and I'm in love with it, only thing i'd like is an engine upgrade or at least texture upgrade, because the space debris and stone is kinda plain and simple, and it would be better if there were maybe light rays or something similar, and when we get hit by a weapon eg. coil mortar i'd be good that the explosion kinda is realistic. I'm not pointing out the bad i'm just suggesting to make the good better.
use normal ship control if you fight destroyer, normal ship control is more easier to aim and easier to control outside of combat, but turret aim can help you deal with ships that is behind you.
I don't see the destroyer railgun anymore. Now I got the Halo gun which I think it is suck, but only choice I got. Meson cannon, I almost can make one but still missing the cooling element.
archon or procyon but not the invincible. Why ? Because (it's NOT MENTIONNED in this video) you DON'T have heals modules; so only your shields regenerate and the invincible had only 15k of shield (less than a guard frigate at the same rank).
Question: Would the default control on controller mode be turret mode or normal flight mode? That would suck if I had to switch to keyboard to play Destroyer.
John Redman no. tiers don't exist. nothing follows the rules of them anymore. and the reason they removed it was to balance modules better. instead of basing it on tiers they now can control what individual ranks have access
Mallchad Tiers are still there, you can see it being implemented all over the game. The division of ships along "tiers"........for instance.......They even made a new game mode ONLY for tiers 1-3.....
