Maybe the Northern Lights too?An incredible view of them on Friday so bright that they cast a shadow on the beach in a Bortle 6 area.I went out last night but hardly anything just a few faint Aurora in the north east.Hypaitia was a Neoplatonist ,a follower of the philosopher Plotinus who is held to be the last great philosopher of the Classical World.Last year was bad for Noctilucent Clouds but their Nacrous cousins more than made up for it in December 2023.I don't think that much is known about how either Noctilucent or Nacrous Clouds form and it might be connected to solar activity ?
