Star Fox Event Horizon - Enter Star Fox (now with voices) 

Whats this? Star Fox, made by someone who isn't Nintendo? Out of nothing but pure passion for the universe, the characters and lore? Oh baby, this looks epic!

I know my flying ability is unparalleled... But Ive never flown with a better set of wingmen in my life. Kyle, Stephen, Michael, you guys are amazing. And of course working with Estelle is going to be unforgettable once we work on the Aparoid Invasion!

I have to say it's so amazing to hear all of these talented voices come together and it is a great honor to be playing the role of ROB in this game, like a childhood dream come true! I have come to love the Starfox franchise ever since I first got the VHS promotional tape for Star Fox 64, and now I feel like I can actually be a part of this adventure (totally not an intentional reference) through this project, thank you so much for letting me join this journey with all of you and I can't wait for what the future has in store!

My humble opinion on the voice : - Falco : just right - Slippy : clearly different, but certainly less annoying in the long run. He sound like a kid in general but here, it's an adult. - Peppy : perfect - Col. Shears : Why am I hearing James McCloud ? Calm and collected and I can't wait to hear him, the change of tone, once he... well, you all know. :) - Cornerian / civilian pilot : Promising. I wonder if there will be 4-6 voices for the different cornerian personnel we will meet on the battlefield. - Androssian pilot : just a little bit of cartoon villain in the tone, perfect for arrogant wannabe conquerors (without the cartoon stupidity). I like it. Now a few questions : - Are the Harlock "on rail" during the defense of the civilian convoy ? - at 10:44, is it me or the cornelian vessel is about to crash into the Great Fox ? Depending of how the assets handle collision between each other, I'm a bit worry : "Defend the Great Fox" -> The GF bounce to the other side of the map because of a collision with a dreadnought. Is it also a "on rail" situation ? Can't wait for the release. Fantastic job !

The voice who did Colonel Shears is one of the best in my opinion!

This is awesome. That first recording session was a lot of fun.

Reminds me of StarWars Rogue Squadron with how the ship can switch to a cruising mode for speed. And overall a mix of SF1's Corneria opening, and Assault's battle over Fortuna. Great stuff.

Like your choice of music for this level, and pretty neat that you use Blade Barrier as the first boss of the game. That ship was taken directly from the original Star Fox game. Like your choice of voice actors too, especially Shears. He sounds calm even when under attack though, probably because he's a double agent for Andross.

Man it's so satisfying to finally hear voice acting in this!! Everyone's doing a great job, can't wait for more!

Whoa-ho! More voiced missions? You, Mr. IceCreamMan, are entirely too kind to us! And what's this? Proper cutscenes, on top of that? We've really come a long way from the first proof of concept videos, haven't we? It really helps set the scope of what's at stake here, and gives the bosses a chance to properly show off before we have to start taking evasive maneuvers and returning fire. The voice acting isn't QUITE on par with what we've seen in official games, but it's still quite better than most fan games can boast! Slippy actually sounds like puberty kicked in, and that's always good. Fox sounds spot-on. Granga sounds a BIT too cultured compared to the canon version of him, but still not too shabby. I WOULD say that Shears seems ENTIRELY too damn composed, given the circumstances, but that's just a way of hinting at his true colors. The multi-stage mission objectives are a nice touch, too. From engaging the enemy fleet's opening fighters, to providing cover for civilian evacuee ships, to taking on Granga's orbital bombardment platform, you really get a feel for how Venom's forces are launching a multi-pronged attack, and you're going after each of their offensives as the situation evolves. And as a bonus, it sounds like there's trouble left over on the planet surface, proper. Either I missed that original video, or we're due for a treat with a new level, a glimpse of the horrifying war crimes Andross is willing to commit, and a fight with the Attack Carrier!

All the voice actors did a great job, every voice sounded like it fit the characters well. I'm even more hyped now and I can't wait to hear the voice performances for Fara and Star Wolf.

Whoever did Slippy did an incrdible job. It was, admittedly jarring at first to hear Slippy so totally different, but I got used to the voice very quickly, and the VA was amazing.

I am hyped. I am beyond hyped. This game feels alive. Watching you play feels so nature, so flawless. I love this project. When the voices, and the control and tutorial over hall come, this is going to be amazing. Recently, I was able to beat Star Fox 64. I'm glad I have another chance to defeat Andross in all the Star Fox glory

I dig Peppy’s voice. It has elements of Rick May’s impression (RIP!) of Peppy and Hound from Transformers G1.

I love all of the voices, all of the actor really did a good job, maybe they´ll need a little bit of eqing and compression to give the "transmition" vibe, but anyway, outstanding job.

I do not know what to say, but i will be honest. THIS IS EXTREMELY SUPER AMAZING!! I seen this mission when there were no Voice actors, but i can really see the changes, and along with that the Voice actors, were super amazing. They all did amazing, from the rating of 1 to 10. i rate it at 100, because it was that amazing, I know one thing the other missions, the voice actors on next mission will be amazing. Keep doing a wonderful job.

It's really amazing to see how far this project has gone and how much work you put into making this game. You and everyone else attach to this project really have all out done yourselves, and have done something most people would dare not to do congrats all.

Cornerian Defense Force: Corneria “My first day as a member of the CDF, it was huge, it was noisy, chaotic. A far cry from the simulations back home. Of course, that’s pretty much the way it was for all of us, wasn’t it? All that waiting, all those years of training… it doesn’t really prepare you for all the explosions or the fires, does it? Frankly, I’m still amazed we made through the first hour, let alone the first day.”

I actually thought for a moment that Fox was Mike West. Pretty damn close. And Slippy isn't annoying. Also... what the fuck is this??? It's cool

I know it's not, but the game just feels so fucking close, now! I can't help but be hype, even though I know I should be patient.

This is a joy to see, and just to note I had a feeling Shears was going to sound evil but MY GOSH they got some a plus choice for him. Slippy sounds like he means business now, and peppy, Fox, and Falco are on point good job guys all around.

this was such a great opportunity to play Granga I will admit that maybe I should have done a bit better but this was fun!

Oh god yes! Honestly, this was one of my biggest issues while playing the previous demo versions. Playing while trying to stay on top of the written dialogue was a bit stressful, especially because I tried to play it on hard which I don't recommend by the way. Normal is already a decent challenge and I say that as a seasoned player of both Freespace 2 and Star Fox 64. Anyway, now I will be able to fully focus on flying and not missing out any of the story. Glad to see my Patreon subscription is put to good use.

The gameplay looks alot smoother now. And of course grand work on the voice acting.

I'm glad that Great Fox gets used more. It could really duke out some damage in a few level on the N64 and the GameCube on SF:Assult it even did a suicide run and broke thru some impenetrable shield.

This game is really coming along. The voice casting is quite excellent for the most part. Especially Slippy’s which is nowhere near as annoying as he was back on the official games. I do appreciate the voices for the Venom pilots, though some of their delivery sounds a little cheesy, and I expected to have a Star Wars Imperial-esque British accent. I guess the British accent could be saved for the Venom officers’ voices?

I just realize something. The beginning part of the opening cutscene for this mission is similar to the intro cutscene in the original Star Fox game for SNES. That's a very good reference and I failed to noticed it sooner.

As a huge fan of Star Fox and a watcher(?) of StarFoxEH for over 7 years, the sudden traction youre gaining for completing this game is making me overly happy. Thank you for this, as this is everything Ive wanted in a SF game. I hope Nintendo never tries to mess anything up for you.

I do enjoy how you maintained Andross' M.O. His forces strategy and his personal combat tactics can be summarized as Keep It Simple, Stupid. His straightforward military approach is actually quite good, and he would have taken over Lylat if not for the Star Fox team's intervention.

I remember hearing about this game and seen this game years ago and this is still going on. Nonetheless I'm impressed and as a Star Fox fan I approve of this. 😎👍

I remember when playing Star Fox 64, Enter Star Fox starts on the planet’s surface. Enter Star Fox starting outside of Corneria, is way cooler. And putting Colonel Shears into this story is brilliant. Great job and keep up the good work

I have been looking through all of these videos of this and I gotta say, like what alot have said, this is a love letter to the fans, it is beautifully done and truly captures and adds more to the Star Fox games and story. I am still amazed by how much has gone into this, but then again the fans has been always able to outshine themselves and this is one of those that has truly out did itself, welldone to both you and the team, big props to you all and thank you for making this 42 year old feel like a young boy again

Voice acting's all great. The flight gameplay is becoming a lot smoother now, and I LOVE the spin! Very dynamic, and you've got a G-Diffuser so why not?

This is pretty much the main reason I want to get Freespace 2...and the voices! For some reason I like Slippy much better than in Starfox 64!

Already a few minutes in, and I can safely say, these voices were selected well! I honestly hope whoever's reading this is one of the VA's that got selected, because let me tell you guys, you friggin' earned it. I'm envious, so my sincerest congratulations! You guys get to work with Estelle Ellis too! How cool is that? I hope there'll be a distortion option in future updates you can flick on/off, to make the voices sound a bit more compressed like in the N64 version, to give it that retro feel.
