Wolf: That's as far as you go, Star Fox! Leon: I do hope you like our new toys. Pigma: Ha! You're even du- Pigma: Yeah, yeah, I get it! Now leave me alone. Andrew: Hey! I didn't get a chance to say anything! Pigma: Shut up, Andrew!
I like the black design of the Arwing in this game. It's like "The Red, or Black Baron", of Starfox's squadron in this game. And the history of this game, makes me suppose, once again, that the Fox McCloud's motive was not only to save the Lylat system. It was also, above all, to VENGE the murder of his father; by Andross.
BBspike100 Well when you use ZL to target onto one of the them, you can use the gamepad to pelt the shit out of them with lasers, even when they take to the air since when you're locked onto them and you move left or write you follow their movement, and if you aim slightly left or right to where they're moving you'll fucking destroy them. I found this out myself yesterday when I finally got the hit score medal on this stage.
+BBspike100 Mind you, when you're using the Walker and you're ZL targeting something, you can just hold the right stick left or right and you'll do automatic, repeated barrel rolls to deflect enemy fire. I think there's actually a gap in these rolls where you can be shot, but it's still a pretty tight defense for such an immobile vehicle.
+TheAnimationAnalyst " if you aim slightly left or right to where they're moving you'll fucking destroy them." Also known in real life as "leading the target." The more you know ;)
*Spoilers ahead read at own risk* Here's a tip, after Fox's dad distracts Andross and he turns around to face him, to get the good ending and final medal for the level, (assuming your going for medals that is) do a U-turn to face Andross and charge your laser and fire it at his exposed weak spot to kill him. Doing this does a few things, first you get a final message from Fox's dad, second as mentioned above, you get a medal, and finally you get a bigger hit count from him than normal(I think). P.S to get the medal, you MUST charge your laser to kill Andross, and for those of you wondering how you can do that in a small area like that, your in all range mode for the whole escape duh!! (Last part not ment to offend)
You only need to shoot Andross when he turns around, doesn't matter if it's with a charged shot or with regular lasers. Charing the laser only gets it for the little bit of extra dialogue, nothing else.
I really liked this game, I just really didn't like the controls. If they remade it for Switch with normal Starfox 64 controls I would rebuy in a heartbeat.
+Jesse Billingsley Why do people hate assault? I think it was a cool Star Fox game. It lacked some things, but man I enjoyed playing it (and I grew up playing 64).
Jesse Billingsley I never played it, but I've seen enough about it. It's cool, but I think it goes a bit away from the Star Fox feeling, aside from the Arwing missions.
first of all god like moves out there real sweet and sec when playing as the deadpool arwing is there some perks about using that like if you get hit once u dead or something?
