$614,000 dollar settlement for his injuries wouldn’t go very far for that young man. Long term medical bills alone would exceed that amount then you add in his living situation plus the people who would care for him on a daily basis. 😢

Frightening to think all it took was a back flip gone wrong for him to end up like this. Also sad to think people will financially take advantage of situations like this just to benefit themselves. Hopefully he and his family can stay here and get the proper care he deserves.

Mom setup so my younger sister could pay her bills and "stuff". Years later I found some of Mom's financial records. As far as an attorney and accountant can make out, when Mom died there was $73,000 missing. Now SHE's mad at ME! I should have put her in prison.

Insane this young man is facing deportation after all these years, and yet thousands are pouring across our border daily and nobody is talking about deporting them. There is a special place in hell for Kathy Johnson who not only preyed upon this vulnerable young man, but 29 others, and possibly more. The Florida guardian system has been broken for a very long and been plagued with issues like this. They need to enact more stringent guidelines for guardians and more oversight to ensure vulnerable people are not abused financially.

How did he get legal settlements if the accident was his fault for trying to show off at a dance? 🙄 There are people that are struggling on disability from injuries and accidents they didn't cause. A broken system? They had a temporary visa. This is crazy

Is he a US citizen, or not? If he was living here legally, he should already have a green card, if he wasn’t a citizen.
