"I am Satanail! Hell will set right this distorted universe.." Satanail could well go in the record books for longest final boss battle. He has 6 Mil HP IIRC which is the most HP a final boss has had so far AFAIK

at 0:53 - 1:05 the music sounds so sad, it is touching

I don't see why people hate ,Faize, so much. He was a real hard final boss, and you can sorta see why he does the things he does.Give the guy a chance he may have some weird clothing, but his story was good. Never once did anyone see his pain.

For a good while I thought I was doing something wrong, because the boss just refused to die even after 25 minutes, I quite literally exhausted most of my items, no revives by the time the boss finally went down. What an epic fight.

A theme truly befitting an angelic demon(going by his appearance.) I loath his Gauntlet uppercut chained with his gauntlet launch then his dual sword attack(Not Billowing Decimation)

Huh... stopped playing Star Ocean after 3's main plot twist, but this track and the descriptions in the comments about the final boss makes me wonder if perhaps it would have been best to push onward and play 4 anyway. It's nice to hear a powerful track with multiple movements that evokes an almost surreal epicness.

SATANail took me about 20 minutes to beat with level 60~ characters. Arumat + rush combo spamming is a beast.

Took me over an hour to beat this guy with characters in the 50's. Died 2-3 times, too and had to start from the last save point, too!

it took me 1hr and 30mins to get to his final form only to die at what i thought was the very end......those flying hands and duel swords got me =[

This thing kept killing Reimi. She was my tank, believe it or not. This battle took a good 30 - 40 minutes with me spamming Seraphic Thunder during the Rush Combo. It was beast. Although she did die, like 15 times.

Correction, I've now beaten the Apostle of Creation and Satanail twice in a row. I'm going to fight them both 3 more times until I get Satanail's monster data to 100% so that I can give my chars in my new game a Satanail monster jewel. I believe Satanail's jewel has: - Chance to suvive incap via Fury - Rush Guage charge rate +2 - Maximim HP/MP +3% Then I can synth the jewel into armor so that with the synthesized armor and jewel they'll have Max HP/MP + 6% ^_^

when i fought this guy i was like "the final boss better have lots of hp not like that piss easy boss at the end of infinite undiscovery" my wish was granted.

I was level 63. At first I was using Edge, however I swapped to using Reimi and kinda went into 'cheap-mode'. Crimson Squall spam.

well, you can't get immunity for both with one Item, but through synth, you can at least get resistance against these effects. Try it^^

I beat the end boss with a party of lvl 53

Haha, the final boss of this game almost beat me, but I still got him on my first try. I woulda been so pissed if I lost cuz I had to fight those 2 or 3 other giant monsters before him and didn't get a chance to save before taking on the final boss. It was a long-ass fight though!

@IndalecioCeleste he has 3,630,595 with a time 2 of that for chaos, yah ridiculous i know, even worse theres a boss in FF13 that has 16 million hp that goes into a cocoon like state where you cant hurt it and it heals by a 100,000 each 5 seconds, it doesnt take as nearly as much time as this boss did but god damn did this othe rone just destroy your party even on highest level

considering the fact that this game is action orientated, i'm not suprised the final boss hits 6 million, at max stats he can be killed very quickly

@DragonSLAYER3545 for final bosses FFXIII has them beat cause orphan has 9 million but star ocean 4 has it beat in length cause holy hell man this fight, firts you fight a 40 minuete fight with his first then you may need to fight all the bosses from the game if you chose the wrong path and then you fight the final boss that takes up a good hour of fighting that is also a very very hard boss

I was like level 55 when I first tried this and then I returned at 59. I hit the 60s in the fight with the Apostle and a few monsters before but u was still kinda underleveled

I'm still trying (in vain) to figure out how to reach Apostle of Creation, though my chars are all close to lv 70 and my Arumat is a beast ^_^

it was easy for me because i used arumat, it just took a while to kill him, still killing that ultrabeast gedoran in the colosseum over and over was far more tedius than this guy.

you think thats cheap? try arumats nether strike spam, less charge up time
