Not quite, Diabolo couldnt touch it because of the deactivation of SCR, but i still think Jotaro is worthy, mostly because of the fact that he was able to see the power the Arrow was offering him
@@vader2281 Diavolo was not worthy of holding it, so fate did everything in its power to stop him from holding it. Being able to touch it means fate thinks you are worthy of acquiring its power. Hence why touching it is impressive, cause random bullshit would have happened to stop him if he wasnt worthy.

I think a fitting, albeit overpowered, requiem ability for Star Platinum would be omnipresence during The World. I get the sense Jotaro wishes he could be everywhere at once; dealing with the remnants of Dio around the world which keeps him away from his daughter, often being just out of range of targets during stopped time, all the dolphin studies left undone. So as long as he sees or remembers something he can instantaneously appear there during SPR: The World. If you want to balance it more, and perhaps give it more precise meaning, it could be that he effectively has Goku's instant transmission. He can teleport to people specifically, locking on to the presence of their soul. The stronger his connection to them, good or bad, the faster the process. Worst case he wastes a second, best case is basically instant.
i agree with 'jotaro wishes he could be everywhere at once' i feel like in any intense battle all jotaro wants is to protect everybody he knows and loves, it reminded me of the final fight with pucci. some people say that the requiem stands grants the user whatever ability they need at the time, my twist on your idea is that hypothetically if jotaro used an arrow during the pucci fight he would gain something like infinite range of his *stand* during stopped time with insane speed, so much so that his *stand* is practically teleporting around.being able to send his stand after people with infinite range and light level speed is exactly what he would want/need during a fight like that where he normally wouldnt be able to protect everyone. that would be OVERPOWERED but it fits, maybe throw in extra timestop length too because i feel requiem stands arent meant to have a weakness to take advantage of

If this is requiem arrow, it should give Jotaro an ability that enables him to keep Jolyne safe without Jotaro having to keep his distance to Jolyne. I think that is the only thing Jotaro would search new stand power for he can protect himself just fine. His only weakness is people around him that do not have powerful stands to protect themselves with: A weakness Pucci abused to the max.

I feel that if Star Platinum Requiem existed, his ability could be *True* Time Stop. The ability to stop individual people, places, items, abilities, and concepts. This ability would be GREATLY buffed since he's only stopping individual things instead of the entire world. (Or some may say universe.) Meaning instead of things being stopped for 5 seconds, they may be stopped for 20 seconds or more. That's just what I think would be more interesting.

It's either, shortly after part 3, or before part 6. If jotaro got a stand arrow achieving "Requiem" would differ from over heaven or any ability, since (as far as I understand it) requiem gives the ability needed in this situation. So: After part 3, it would be an ability to find and resolve a the complications brought by Dio. (For example the ability to feel/sense everything that reaches back to Dio. Before part 6: It would be some ability that could stop both the heaven plan, and save Jolyne. Giornos Requiem comes to mind (to stop Pucci). In my opinion Star platinum Requiem, would be way too strong, and break the whole of jjba. If you think otherwise please gimme any feedback, the same applies if I explained anything wrong. No you’re completely right, Star Platinum Requiem would be insanely busted, I mean Star Platinum already was the most powerful stand in world during his time and only lost because Puccini was playing dirty. Though I honestly believe Jotaro would want teleportation powers or the ability to send himself ahead in time (think what Tracer in Overwatch does). How I see Jotaro’s main fear, is that he hates being behind or late, wishing he’d arrived been there soon, with powers like these he’d never had to worry about that again as they’d allow him to get where he’s going faster.
Ngl i think it's more of a "protect the whole joestar lineage at once" stand ability, so it's like BTD (can be planted onto people) but unlike BTD, it only can be planted onto joestars (can be placed to more than 2 joestars) and if one of them has a looming threat that has a chance of the joestar dying in the process, Jotaro can teleport near the Joestar that's in danger (Jolyne, Josuke, Joseph, Giorno (albeit not likely)) and assist them in battling or etc etc until they're safe (note: this is inspired by one of Jotaro's quote "good grief, i made it in time")
the ability to get help from all the joestars basically he gains all the ability from the joestars like giorno's GER since giorno has joestar blood in him
If I recall correctly, Requiem ability is tied to the will of user. Like Polnareff and Giorno, Polnareff has that inner side of him not to let the arrow head in anyone's hand and Giorno has the will not to die in the last ep. Thus born the unique requiem. It did not goes berserk like eveyone else assume, it shared the will of user while remaining secret to the character's knowledge.
Alot of people are giving their opinions on what his ability would be and this is mine. Something that he always points out during a fight or a problem he has is time, against dio, he couldn't move for long enough at first. Against kira, he wouldn't have made it in time if not for koichi. And against pucci, his time stop wasn't long enough, so I think his ability would have something to do with speed and time. This leads me to the equation speed=distance ÷ time. I believe his ability would have 3 different parts, first is of course an increased time stop length, I believe it would only increase to 9 seconds like dio. The second part and this is where his true requiem ability comes in is that he can remove the idea of distance, essentially he removed time from the equation I stated, meaning that speed=distance, he can shorten or lengthen a distance, so he can make it so his attacks are an assured hit, or make his opponents attacks impossible, making puccis infinite speed pointless as there would be infinite distance between them. And for the third and final part of his ability, let me point something out. Both scr and ger abilities had something to do with souls, scr swapped bodies and ger sent their soul through and infinite death loop, so I believe star platinum could attack the soul, allowing him to ignore their durability and abilities, as he now has an assured hit as well as an assured kill unless they have some sort of ability that can change reality or protect their soul.
It kind of reminds me of Gojo's ability with infinity ngl but just in a more offensive form. I think what your trying to get at is that Jotaro will always reach the enemy no matter what. His attacks will ALWAYS land because distance, the entire concept is irrelevant. It makes for a pretty interesting ability and definitely falls in line with his character of always being late and needing assistance, exploiting Dio's ego, or anything else to get time. But it truly shows how formidable this would truly be. Imagine a threat that could pause time and being able to remove distance A good example of removing distance in its entirety is when The Hand uses its ability on Josuke to eliminate the space between the two closing the gap essentially removing "distance". To make this even more broken of an ability Star platinum requiem can manipulate distance not just erasing it. Hearing about abilities such as this is really cool in all honesty.

To be fair, Star Platinum has always had at least a slight independent streak as far as stands go. It's not a fully independent stand like, say, Notorious B.I.G. or Black Sabbath, but back when Jotaro had locked himself up in jail, SP kept bringing him gifts without Jotaro asking for them.

I think something more fiting for his state in time as a marine biologist student could creat some link with his transformation. Jotaro is also quite smart and probably a curious one because of all the knowledge he have. So here is my idea. Star platinum Cosmic Oceans The stand, his user and who he want to bring with him can go through a pocket dimention that can go anywhere he want, even time period or realities.
I think a teleportation ability and the idea of being anywhere and everywhere all at once within his world of time-stop would suit Jotaro's needs if given requiem powers (Tribute to someone suggesting the name "Universal Platinum"). Not only would it allow him to protect those closest to him at all times, but he would be able to maximize his limited time stop ability to its fullest potential without any wasted movement, allowing him to achieve his goals within such a time constraint.
I feel like Jotaro's requiem ability would be cool if it had the ability to copy a stand's ability yet make it stronger and more useful. Kind of like the power that John has from Unordinary. Except this kind would make sense because he wants to protect the loved ones around him, and his main issue when fighting Pucci was that he couldn't be everywhere at once to protect his daughter and fight all at the same time. But that would likely also make his time stop infinite because that was another main issue he had in that fight. Maybe instead of copying abilities his power would be Omnipresence and INF TS

If I understand correctly Star Platinums main thing is super fast attacks and reflexes, with the pinical of it being stopped time. So what if Requiem was the ability to go back in time? To hit something before you even throw the punch. I think that would be pretty cool
@thejinxedcat3616 Like the person Jotaros fighting is just being hit by invisible punches, that later in the fight Jotaro is seen throwing in the place they were. So it looks like Jotaro keeps missing but the opponent keeps getting hit by a punch they haven't thrown yet

It's a gun that's not a gun, that paracausally establishes that its target has been shot, ergo something must have shot it. Effect without the cause, essentially just skipping the whole pesky "having a gun" and "actually shooting at your target" parts. It's explicitly stated that nothing in the game, or that will ever exist in the game, can stop the Ushabti - and when you push the system to its limits it fires three times instead of once.
Imagine if Star Platinum Requiem has the look of The World, but with infinite time stop. That would've been... Intriguing. Edit: The theory went like this: If Star Platinum does infact copy the ability of The World, what if the the next stage of Star Platinum's evolution/requiem would not only mimic The World's ability, but the look aswell, and also the upgraded version of the ability? I know it's unlikely, but the reason of why i wrote this is because the author of this fan manga usually wrote the PTSD side of Jotaro after part 3. So why not? I think it would be interesting and ironic since jotaro has not only stole Dio's stand, but his dream of having infinite time stop aswell. (I know it's literally just TWOH, lol)

star platinum requiem ability called "so it's the same type of stand as star platinum", this ability allows SPR to use other stand's ability if jotaro knows how the ability works and he touched the stand at least once, SPR will change his left arm to stand's arm who's ability he used previously.
It was too much power to contain, if the arrow was left in his hand for even one more second he and his stand would deconstruct into nothing. Suddenly for a split second Jotaro could see, feel, know everything in the universe all at once ; in the past present and future of all realities. He knew he was going to die and be reincarnated - to forget everything and he knew right then and there that there was nothing he could do to stop it....because he knew he was just a fictional character in a Japanese mans Manga. As soon as the arrow left his hand, he and his stand changed back to normal, he forgot everything he just learned but could still feel immense unease.
I like to imagine that when an arrow creates a requiem, it requires the user to accept their fate, hence why Polnareff wasn’t able to use it until he knew his fate, considering Jotaro’s PTSD, him rejecting the arrow would make perfect sense.

The Requiem arrow works by what the user wants when they get pierced by the arrow Polnareff wanted to keep the arrow away from everyone making SCR which defended the arrow from everyone Giorno wanted an ability to defeat diavolos time skipping ability he got GER's "return to zero" (Technically not a req but ill count it) Kira wanted to cover up his new identity and him killing hayato when he got pierced and he got "bites the dust" resetting the timeline to before hayato was killed and giving him the ability to kill the entire jojo crew Jotaro wanted to uncover the truth... Who knows what power he'll get... I want ppl to make up his abilities lol

There are multiple ways this could go, if it’s part 3 jotaro then the power to either defeat any enemy which correlates to wanting to overcome any obstacle or the power to protect loved ones which correlates to how jotaro wanted to help her mother recover, if it’s the first one then making it so that star platinum requiem could adapt to any ability no matter how overpowered it is, if it is the latter then being able to deflect any ability back at the user would be kinda cool. Part 4 star is quite similar to part 3 except he probably wants to protect his family and instead of trying to defeat any enemy would probably only want what Kira wanted, a quite and happy life with his family, for the latter I don’t know what it could be (Put your suggestion), for the first one it would be similar to part 3’s. Part 6 jotaro would want an ability to mainly protect his family at this point, after years of doing work to find the stand arrows he knows he can’t have a happy quite life, so he would want to protect his wife and daughter first, I think my answer for this one doesn’t change but I think instead of deflecting any attack back at the enemy, being able to nullify any damage like GER would be perfect at this point (seems kinda lazy but I couldn’t think of anything else). The problem with requiem stands is that strands end up gaining a will of there own outside the user like we see when giorno uses return to zero or when silver chariot requiem went rogue and followed its users last request to defend the arrow with its life not like they didn’t have a will of their own already such as the case with spice girl but I think it’s more that they become free essentially but the bond is still bound by soul

I think SPR's ability would be like similar to WoU if someone threatens his family or someone he held dearly, SPR would take in effect and hunt the person down, it will not stop untik the target is vanquish, no matter where you are it will hunt you down almost instantly, the timr stop remains however it now has its own consciousness and will activate automatically if joots is in danger, the time stop will not end until jotaro vanquish his foe or retreat enough to a safe distance.
I have like name ideas for Star Platinum Requiem like Star Platinum Requiem (Basic) Star Ultimate (Sounds odd) Universal Platinum (Sounds cool) Star Galaxy (Fitting) Star Platinum: Over Heaven (Basic as well) Star Platinum: Clockwork (Sounds unusual) Super Platinum (Could work, but it removes the meaning behind the "Star") Those are pretty much my general ideas but if they were ever gonna be a non-canon official Star Platinum Requiem, I'd really love to see the name, but keeping it the same as "Requiem" or "Over Heaven" won't sound original but I wouldn't judge too hard

If requiem rules apply that in the case of getting requiem, you must be simultaneously stabbed while feeling an extreme need for something, whilst already having a stand. Polnareff really wanted to keep the arrow away from diavolo, so SC Requiem was born. So in this comic strip, this rendition of star platinum requiem would probably have a very powerful analysis ability, or maybe a power to find meaning and use it tactically. because jotaro was looking into the details and asking questions about the arrow before getting stabbed.
I hate living in the timeline where Part 6 wasn't an "every living character together fighting the biggest threat yet" plot that ended with a Star Platinum Requiem absolutely demolishing the main villain
due to how stand arrows work, I think the requiem version of star platinum (in this instance anyway) would be inquisitive or investigation related as what appeared to be wanted most here was knowledge, but idk how it would work for sure.
The requiem arrow is based on their personality, for jotaro there are 2 things i thought what power he'll achieve 1. Jotaro is mostly nonchalant and serious, adapts to certain scenarios as long as he concentrates. So in other means he'll have the ability to adapt to any attacks or skills, and maybe have full control of flow state 2. Determination to save his mother who'll die in 50 day's, defeated Dio, discovered his stand can do time stop, jotaro is the one character that'll do anything to achieve something that'll save his loved one's. Presenting the stand called " star platinum: time fist " punches that are so fast that time itself cannot stop, meaning you're already got barrage by this stand before it happened, high senses to surrounding's and environment's, and the scariest ability called " time punch " an ability where jotaro can go to the future or past in a certain amount of time, in there he can attack or alter a scene for example. Once he punch the opponent that is on the past, the opponent in the present will then experience it. If he punches the opponent in the future, in the present that scene will happen even if the opponents knows it, it'll continue nonetheless
If a user of a stand get stabbed they get a new ability ex. Killer queen got bite the dust because Kira got stabbed But if the stand get stabbed it turns to a requiem ex.golden experience

I think an intresting requem ability for star platnum would be every time star platnum punches someone or something the person or thing will be stuck in time and every consistent punch that star platnum lands resets the timestop counter on the object or person.

He had no current goal. So the ability would be minimal. Getting stabbed by an arrow a second time grants an ability based on need. Which is why Giorno didn't get a new ability from black Sabbath he had no goal that needed fulfilled. Polnereff needed the arrow away from Diavolo so he got Chariot Requiem a stand that made it extremely difficult for Diavolo to get the arrow Giorno Wanted to stop the boss so he got GER which removes Causation which stopped the Boss by preventing his actions from having a result. Zero Arguably Kira although he was stabbed not his Stand still gained the ability he needed. Exactly like the 2 known requiem stands Jotaro doesn't currently need anything in this frame of time. However he does care about his daughter and would maybe get an ability involved in her protection. But I still want to see some super broken ability in the next part anyway even if it breaks the standard set by other Requiems.

I'd love a new ability for him, something along the lines of Fate or Reality breaker Gives SP the power to bypass anything, be it love train, or Calamity, and as he punches an enemy, his opponent will break apart wherever SP hit, and at serious mode (like in the fight with DIO) would probably get some reality warping punch or straight up erasure on the spot that got hit
Star platinum requiem ability space time distortion what this apparently does is that this ability could cause events that happen from future, past, and present from happening all at once or at coordinated times once the conditions are met with the ability and the surroundings
My own headcanon on Star Platinum's true ultimate power is the Stand can actually copy other Stand's ability after fighting or attacking it once, not just The World. Therefore, Jotaro Kujo might have said "STAR PLATINUM! KILLER QUEEN!" or "STAR PLATINUM! STONE FREE!", and Star Platinum can copy the ability of the Stand Jotaro mentioned, JUST according to how Jotaro perceives the ability, to an extend on how powerful Jotaro's own spirit.
