Raiden shogun is better looking than Acheron. Acheron isn't even top 5 in HSR. I won't personally put her even in top 10. Jing Liu, Bronya, Seele, Ruan Mei etc and a lot of other girls are better than Raiden Shogun tho.

I played all of them, definetely genshin worst one. Never thinking play again (I was playing only razor anyway), and no I am not going to join this fight, because fighting for a game is like, little kids fighting. Let me play whatever I want(but genshin players should value themselves. They are playing a game which does not care about players at all)

If Hoyo can do it for two of their games, why can't they do it for the third? Hell, even giving away a standard banner 5* would be better than how they've done Genshin players - and I play all but Tears of Themis.
Hsr has a big world too and if you see both of them side by side, hsr has a more interactive environment than genshin. Even the puzzles are simpler and the chests are right in the open.
It’s just preference imo. Sometimes turn based rpgs aren’t your thing and vice versa. Both have their upsides and downsides and they shouldn’t really be compared
Yes but both have their similarities as well , mainly being under the same company and sharing many gameplay aspects/day2day/content. That should be compared if one game does it better than the other. The brunt of the comparison is on the fact that despite being from the same company , one game has a developer team that actively listens to it's playerbase and appreciates them with rewards(free META limited 5* I mean cmon that's amazing). Meanwhile the other can't give a rats arse about their mint and berry gatherers . Also star rail adopted a lot of genshin's systems like dailies/abyss/character development, but improved on them DRASTICALLY from genshin such as easier auto dailies with higher resin tank WITH a massive reserve. Much easier character progression with higher yield rates and easy resource exchange with the Omni synthesizer (you don't even need to tp to a bench to do it....) . And let's just not even mention endgame , genshin has had it's basically four abyss stages for eternity now and star rail now has actually fun to play two/three endgame modes already and it ain't even it's first anniversary yet . These are just some of the more major reasons why star rail players pick on genshin I'm sorry if I ranted a lot I needed to vent after seeing all the genshin players coping in this section lol. Genshin players really just need to get rid of the Stockholm syndrome and pressure Hoyo to make their fav game better , star rail and it's happy playerbase can just be used as examples on how genshin could be better

The thing I noticed, which makes sense since the game mechanics: The 3d models of HSR are more detailed, the clothes and hair physics flow better. The game doesnt have a climbing or gliding function and all the animations in the turn based battles are pre animated therefore the devs were able to put more emphasis on the appearance of the character. They don't have to worry about the physics of the hair starting to get wonky or clipping through stuff because theres limited movement. In Genshin you have all sorts of animations, the characters jump, climb, glide around. You sprint after an attack or cancel combat movements out. Genshin impact has stunning 3D models, but compared to HSR they look a little bit simpler
At this point of income they are expected to do better at that, no excuse on that since they have income which beat most indie game developer budget. And what they do? nothing even if they dont appreciate players at the very least improving model quality which is should be unique to each other should not be difficult using that much amount of money they gain from player.
No you are crazy, hsr 3d faces are worse than genshin, if you look at the face of hsr characters from any angle other than upfront the eyes and nose are awkward looking, while the opposite is true for genshin. Also the faces and clother are more generic in hsr, even tough its tru3 that the clothes by themselves are more detailed, other easy to spot features are worse, like in hsr the armit zone is alway wonky, also the running animations are horrible and static, in genshin the models are a bit simpler design wise but of much better quality overal.
I played genshin on ps4 and I wanted to quit because it wasn’t worth investing several hours into farming for exp or money In HSR. I haven’t even thought of deleting it once since getting it because the grinding while slow, allows more freedom and experimentation

Since the new patch dropped I have collected a total of 42 wishes so far in Honkai star rail while only having 10 in genshin from a damn even that’s specifically gives us free wishes.
20 in hsr and 13 in Genshin, yeah. I don't know about exploration, but I'm pretty sure open world game gives more rewards from exploration than turn-based combat game
@@Tormillian most genshin players THINK genshin open world gives you tons of rewards but it still doesn't and it also takes a lot of time to get those chests, i mean you have to open 800 common chests to get a 10 pull, hsr doesn't have obviously the big exploration but the puzzles give you 20-30 gems, the trotters give you 60 and the normal chests 5, other than that you can check some statistics, you can get almost double the pulls in hsr than genshin. I'm aware that more pulls doesn't mean better game but imo you would feel a lot less "stressed" if you could get more than 40-60 pulls every patch
What's even funnier is that there are people who compare games even though the two games are from the same developer, the one who deserves respect is the developer himself 🔥

I love both games, but my phone doesn't have enough memory for genshin, so I only have honkai, besides, I'm saving up for Aventurine, and the Albedo banner, as I realized, is no longer shining for me...
Prolly cuz honkai gives WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better rewards than genshin. the only free 5 star we got was aloy, which you can only get in around 2.0, no reruns but limited and no constellations while honkais get the hottest man known to earth. not to forget that the anniversary rewards for genshin usually suck, and even tho hsr hasnt had it anniversary, the most i can imagine is free 4 star and probably 20-50 free pulls maybe. me personally tho I think genshin's more fun since open-world fighting is pretty op. sorry btw i have a thing for yapping💀
As someone who plays both-- Honkai Starrail and Genshin Impact, I hate it when people compare HSR and Genshin, Honkai Starrail and Genshin have different mechanics, HSR may be generous with there rewards, but we have to understand HSR and Genshin have different developer teams, in Genshin, we have been getting new areas lately which helps in exploration, primogems etc, and we are getting alot of events aswell. In Honkai Starrail, we get tons of events, and get new characters almost every patch. We should not compare the two games against eachother.
People who does that are people who hated Genshin which is ironically, Genshin veterans themselves who says that Genshin has never treated their loyalty fair hence why they move to another game to diss Genshin. Even outside of Hoyo, Genshin is more hated than Hi3rd and HSR combined for unknown reasons.
I lost 5050 five times in a row to hard pity in Genshin and won 5050 6 times in a row in HSR. SO who’s better?. Genshin made me depressed a lot of time

they both have the same gameplay spam either 3 moves or less (or more) They’ll never get out of your main team (just maybe) and then just way too good as a character
Honkai and genshin have their good parts to both of the games, and i come to enjoy genshin more due to its more open world play format and the fighting type, and i guess because i just joined the fandom earlier lol. However im very invested in honkai too, i think its characters and lore is interesting, and the turn based format is fine when im feeling up to it. I reaally like some characters in both games. Perhaps too much.

Plot honestly ass in genshin. (Sorry Genshin fans I just raged getting too many Kequing.....spelling right?) And I quit it after Yelan. And the leveling up to get to continue the story is annoying but at least honkai it's easier.
Starrail is subjectively better. I’m a burnt out Genshin player, starrail spoils us because they can which is amazing. What has Genshin ever done to spoil us? “Oh we get a free four star during lantern rite!!” Okay and? We got a freaking five star for free, a pretty good one too. Permanent events galore, and a bunch of other stuff. Genshin’s rating has gone down because of how little they give their players, starrail on the other hand is spoiling us and giving us more than we need. I used to play Genshin, then Star Rail came out. I am planning to play Wuthering Waves when that comes out. Not sure what the pull rates and grinding is going to look like but the gameplay I've seen so far appeals to me more, especially the movement. Hope it's not a disappointment.

The main difference is that Genshin players enjoy being ripped off and stepped on by Mihoyo while Honkai players are actually vocal and get what they deserve.
Personally I prefer open world games, like genshin. More specifically speaking the fighting, turn based games aren’t really my thing. It’s just a preference I might try Honkai Star rail sometime but for now I’m sticking to open world games.

Even though a free 5 star would be nice,and uh,yes it is. Who doesn't like free things? But let's be real here. 90% of Genshin's content or even more is so easy to clear. Slap hyperbloom or bloom onto them enemies and it dies. If it dies,it dies.

It's because the improved quality of HSR, on top of the insane treatment HSR players get does in fact make the game better. Animation quality, character expressions in fully animated cutscenes are better, witty and funny writing throughout the entire game and the writing is just so much better overall, character building is so much better and the characters actually feel like real people. You actually get attached to characters in HSR in a way that isn't "Omg they're so hot"/"Omg they're so powerful." I haven't even started on the treatment yet. A free 5* basically right from the get-go and the P2W elements are tuned down dramatically compared to Genshin. The game doesn't feel like it's targeting me for money, I've seen a dollar sign on maybe one screen outside of the literal "Pay money to get further" store. You almost have to search for that kind of monetization. You can get 3 ten pulls worth of Stellar Jade (Primogems but in HSR) within a day. I'd know because I did it. I didn't have to slave my entire day away to do it, either, it took me maybe 3-4 hours and I wasn't even trying to grind for it. I looked at the number and suddenly went from around 900 Jade to 4200 in that time. I put a hundred hours or so into Genshin and quit when I couldn't take it anymore. I've always despised Genshin and got into it for someone else, and while I don't regret that I do regret how much time I spent because even after all of that time the grind got even worse, not better. It's a "Game" that so dearly wants you to throw either money or your entire life at it, and I'm glad HSR is here because while it can't be Genshin because of the differences, I can say that most of the differences make it better. Plus you get to forge an obsession with dumpsters and trash cans. 10/10 deserves a Nobel Peace Prize. (Also Stelle/Caelus don't feel like a husk or generic anime protagonist and being able to switch your path (Vision being Genshin's equivalent) actually has a use outside of random bullshit. Also Stelle and Caelus are actually good characters to use unlike Aether and Lumine where it's basically impossible to justify using them.)
As a player of both Genshin got a free 5 star with Aloy and we get better content drops(bigger patches+more often updates) Star Rail: turn based easier to get wishing materials, harder to level up and has better teleport mechanics, but harder to navigate tho in my opinion. I personally prefer Genshin but theyre two different games and we need to stop comparing.

Saying that female characters in honkai star rail are inferior to genshin ones is a bold claim also very inaccurate. Most of the roaster in genshin look like their maturity could be questionable while Star rail female individuals are mighty fine.
