Riker's personal log. First contact with the Mucosians went.... badly. Their overuse of their own mucous on every surface of their equipment has damaged all their hard work and has seriously set back their warp drive program by twenty years. I suggest the Federation not have more contact with them until they "clear the air" and develop Kleenex tissue technology. On an unrelated note, I should probably take another shower...

@@BeautifulFreak-qf6go i hate to say it but I have to agree with the RedLetterMedia guys, that because Picard season 3 finally nailed it so hard, they should really just retire all of those characters. so nothing can ever ruin them again. (Until 20 years from now when they think it's okay to recast them) but the occasional voice bit on Lower Decks or something? Absolutely.

I love how noncannon the whole show is. Riker's log in the beginning was stardate 2252, in our calendar 2325. That's about 35-40 years before the Enterprise-D launched so he wasn't even born yet 😂

"Sophisticated"? There were so many outright stupid stinkers in TAS; .... just from the top of my head, "The Magicks of Megas-Tu", "Bem", "The Practical Joker", and "The Infinite Vulcan" managed to achieve the seemingly impossible, since it is basically an even more demented version of "Spock's Brain" which has long been considered by many one of the worst episodes of all Star Trek.

@@jdshultis I thought the first one was kinda clever the way the captian "solved" his problem. The second one was shock humor and fart jokes (i shamefully laughed at a couple). This one was just a gross-out session with no real comedy. All in all, even the "best" one has been pretty bad. I have absolutely no clue what the appeal is of this one is.
