MUSEUM NOTES: Check out our Roberto Ligotti collection playlist, that includes all of the wonderful toys that we have received from Roberto Ligotti’s personal collection
Hi, great video. I am happy to say I have all six too 😃 I bought mine back in 1997 and had them ever since. I remember it was a hard buy back then because they were all about $30 each and. I remember thinking I could get 6 completely different figures and these are essentially all the same with different instruments, some instruments much better than others. But then my collecting completist nature kicked in lol and I couldn’t just have 1 or 2. Soooo many times I’ve been tempted over the years to get them out of the box but never have. I have the Taunton too which was a Toys R Us exclusive over gear in the U.K. and I had to line up at 7.30am to get him day of release and take him straight into work with me lol. I ended up getting about 12 in the line and about 4 in sets… Han and Luke storm trooper is my favourite. Greedo is good too. Amazed hot toys hasn’t done him. I enjoy your videos mate. Thanks. Please do some on Battlesrar Galactica 👍🏻
I absolutely enjoyed reading your fantastic comments my friend !!! It’s so much fun to see that someone else has all 6 of these beautiful Catina Band Members !!!! I own a lot of the Star Wars figures too, and I agree with you about the Luke and Han Stormtroopers 2 pack set !!!! I think one of my favorites from this Star Wars collection is the Luke vs Wampa 2 pack set , it’s one of my absolute favorites because the Wampa is made so beautifully , not to mention he is my favorite from the scene where he attacks Luke and his Taun Taun. My museum collection has many great pieces in it, but I have very few Battlestar Galactic figures. I have about 6 Galactic figures and I have made some fun videos on them. Thanks so much for hanging out with us at the museum and sharing your fun stories about the Catina Band
Wow!!. You've got them all. Getting the complete set was definitely the way to go & its great seeing the full cantina band on display. Another awesome addition to the Museum. Thanks for opening the doors once again to your amazing Museum. Time to put the kettle on. Cheers MIB.☕
very cool .the glen miller band could have learned a lot from these guys ,i remember these .its a shame the figures were all the same, however the cantina band were all the same .whoever came up with those names ,must have smoked funny weed .very nice MIB ,i would like their greatest hits album on cd .
Thank you for posting this video because it reminded me that i also have a set. They were a Walmart exclusive, but i didn't get mine there. I wasn't planning to buy these at first because i didn't want to go to all the Walmart s to find them all. I found one at a flea market and the rest the next day at a toy show. They're a cool set and am glad i own them.
You are absolutely welcome my friend !!! Thanks so much for sharing your great story about your Star Wars Catina Band set !!!!! I appreciate your information about where these beautiful figures actually were sold at !!! I wasn’t sure if it was Walmart or Target, now I know !!! Please feel free to hang out at the museum as often as you like , we have tons of great historical toys here
What a collection you have taken. The entire orchestra. I thought I saw some of them a long time ago, but you have the whole gang. By the way, did you see a question I asked you in your last video about the existence of Wells Fargo-type stagecoaches at 1/6 scale? At your command.
Thanks so much my friend !!! I believe I missed your question, my apologies. I would have to research to see if any 1/6 scale Wells Fargo Stagecoaches were produced, that would be fantastic if we could find some in the 1/6 scale !!! I will definitely keep you updated in my research
@@m.i.bmastertoymuseum1979 For now, I have managed to find a person on a FB forum who has, neither more nor less than..... 2 errands. One brown and one red. But both have been purpose-built. He hasn't told me the price they cost him, but I imagine it was a lot. I would love to have an errand to make videos as you can imagine of the typical chase of outlaws or against Indians. Which are the typical images that we have all seen a million times in movies. If you find out something, tell me. At your command.
